Thank you for making this! I recently bought one and you answered a few of my questions. Searching your channel I see you do a lot of fly sky pro stuff too! I got one as a gift and need to learn how to use it so I’m sure I’ll be checking out those! When I was shopping for the set up station I saw the set up boards are they needed to use this? I know you mentioned to use a really flat surface. Top of the workbench/desk ok or should I get some thick glass or something similar? Have any more setup videos?
Thx again, nice work on your channel. I started to start one but I’m stuck in trying to figure out editing and how to make videos. It’s not easy.
Yeh any flat surfaces will do and yeh editing takes some doing and a good pc, the one I built has 5950x 16 core 32 thread CPU, 64gb ram, 4 2tb nvem pcie 4 ssd's 1200wat psu and rtx3090 with 24gb memory and it smashes 4k 60 vids :)
That looks like a really nice kit. Will have to add it to my shopping list. Great review 👍🏻
Yeh there spot in and way cheaper than some of the others out there, glad ya like the vid :)
Seems like a nice kit...and, the price is right ($120 USD). As for quality, I'm assuming it's good (knowing that most YR products are is very good quality). Should note that, just because it states "on-road" doesn't mean it can only be used with on-road vehicles. I've also used mine (of a different brand) for off-road vehicles, and it's proven itself equally useful.
What I'm curious about is the accuracy. I have the Hudy version, which I've had for a few years, and it's (supposedly) the 'most accurate'. I'm also aware that several from other brands have been tested, and, from what I've read/seen, they've (so far) all been proven to be slightly 'off' (some by as little at 0.5° @ 30°, and others as much as 2° @ 30°. How accurate is the YR V3?
Very Cool Setup Station!
I think so too!

been wanting the version 3 but only found the v2 would you happen to know the difference?
It tells you on their site what's changed :)

5:06 yea but what are those markings. i have never seen a setup station with those marks. you would just measure your steering angle like you would measure toe right? so what are those markings and what use do they have?
Not sure which ones you mean, at that point I'm just showing how to check that both wheels trun the exact same degrees each way :)
@@WTFRCCars the markings you put your finger on. the ones around the hole/slot the pin rides in. click on the time stamp i made.
Tbh I don't know what they are for I've not found a use for them
Is it only for Onroad cars? Can it be used fir buggy’s?
Don't see any reason why you couldn't use it for a 1:10 buggy
@@WTFRCCars maybe to small for off-road I want to buy it but only if for sure can fit 1/10 buggy aswell
@mikeymike8054 it will work fine for 1:10 they are the same size as touring cars
Is the top place wide enough for off-road
Yeh they normally ain't as wide as touring cars
Hi, can you adjust the droop with this station?
It doesn't mention it in the instructions.
looks a nice bit of kit that 😎
Works good and really well made
Thank you!
It really is a fantastic well made tool but saying that I use a lot of Yeah Racing parts in my builds and there always fantastic :)
Can this be used for rc drift cars
Works for any 10 scale rc
4:53 uhhh not really. when you turn the wheel the whole thing turns. its no longer perpendicular to the car.
Yes you can and it's how it's measured in the manual for it
@@WTFRCCars but the whole plate rotates. Your not getting an accurate reading
@dirtrider88 it looks strange but it does work correctly
