Just as the tea pot you had on the stove begins to whistle there is a knock at your apartment door, you move the pot off the hot eye and open it, seeing a petite young woman in a teal hoodie with the hood up standing in the hall. "come in, have a seat." You motion for your latest client to enter and move to the kitchen area as she hangs her jacket up on the rack. "I put some water on to boil, do you prefer tea, coffee, or cocoa?" looking at her properly now you see the reason she had her hood up, she has a pair of cat ears on the top of her head, a light brown color, matching her hair with little white tufts coming out. "tea if you don't meiwnd." her voice was soft, and she had a slight speech impediment as was standard for her breed that you found oddly endearing. You pour the hot water over two bags of earl grey and set a mug in front of her before taking a position opposite her with your own mug. As the tea steeps you stare at her, eyes flipping between her ears and eyes, but mainly focusing on her ears, they were the reason she was here. And you would be lying if you said they weren't kinda cute, luckily she doesn't notice you're staring as she's to busy staring at your apartment. After a while you break the silence, "so why are you here? A felis hominum doesn't need to be seeing a human doctor." You say this, and it is true, but while you major'd in human medicine, you minor'd in sub-human studies. She sips from her tea, tail swishing to a fro. "well, you're the only veterinary doctor in town and I don't feel like meoving right now. You seem to know a bunch, you knew what breed I was just by looking." Her tail speeds up and she fidgets with her mug, again standard, her breed naturally has a lot of energy so she was just getting restless. "I'm no veterinarian but I could give an educated opinion about any problem you might have, so what is it?"
