As a dedicated VZ player, I noticed that the nerfs did not impact the tank in terms of random battles (I mean sure, on paper the numbers went down but the gameplay and performance you can put out is the same). The only thing that changed is that I noticed that it's much less capable in onslaught, the few seconds added to the reload/interclip really do make a big difference in smaller battle formats
I honestly have fear to grind another tank like the tvp tier X, because as soon as the tank become popular wargaming will nerf him like progetto, vz 55 ecc

Its always like that. WG doesnt want to destroy the balance completely, so eventually they have to nerf the tanks. It was to be expected. Just grind the tanks u like, that aren't super new or op.
@@Gleichtritt i would just grind tanks I think are fun to play, like tvp, but the thing is, a lot of people play them cuz they are funny and that might lead wargaming to Nerf them, to encourage the players grind another vehicle
Y'know what WG will never nerf directly? Prem tanks. I wouldn't be surprised if they released pre-nerf versions of high tier TT tanks vehicles as "blueprint" prems in the future.
SuperConq hasnt been nerfed yet and has been toxic as shit for years more than the Vz55. Just go grind that.
I grinded my way to get Kranvagn because it was very powerful but by the time I got the tank they nerfed it now the same thing happened. I'm still on TNH Vz. 51 right now and now they nerfed it. Sad life.
That last team you had was amazing. Hardly ever see teams cohesively react the way they did. It was like watching a Clan Wars battle. Though I have a feeling they were all Skill fanboys and were just following your lead.
I never thought the vz was that great. The 2 shot reload always held it back.
Since you mentioned the grille, I still remember playing like a meatball trollololoing rushing in and getting away with the speed and traverse speedbit used to have lol
what I've noticed from this video is amount of shots which missed sometimes even very close targets. I'd say it's even brutal in compare with other skill's Vz.55 videos. When you consider the DPM nerf and lots of 5 min. games ... I'd say the nerf was much bigger then It could be seen in these 3 tier 9 games. And it would be nice to see Vz.55 performing in a heavy line vs other tier 10 heavies.
I think it's fine, the only thing I actually noticed was the aim time nerf. The reload changes are barely noticeable imo. It would have been worse if they nerfed the accuracy or the mobility.
i use the single shot (with 9.9 sec reload) now and its soo much fun cos the enemy thinks I have to reload .....hahahahahah
The gun was the only awesome thing about that tank. Tier 9 feels more armored than this

fun fact: the (nerf) auto loader of the vz55 has same dpm as the is7 which fires single shots, the single shot has exact same dpm as the 277 mounting a gun rammer, only losing out to 5A. the auto loader needed a nerf, for a heavy which moves as fast as a medium capable of 1k dmg in 2seconds is stupid, it makes the jägeroo a clown.

The VZ 51 got hit in the crossfire for no reason. Going from almost 2k dpm to 1.6k dpm is brutal for VZ 51
This is random, but for as long as WOT has been out now, we need some new maps lol. Maps are just getting s little bkring these days bc kve llayed them hundreds if not thousands and thousands of times. By this point we should have like at least 20 plus more mals than we have now.
Add good tank < tomatoes crying about too op tank < nerfed it < tank is just common
Everything is about too many weak players are at the servers nowadays and they cant beat and they are a meat for better players.

Skill do you think the single shot gun is a legit choice now, or the autoloader gun is still better?
if u allow me to share my opinion i will say that the whole point of this tank in it's autoloader and 1000 possible dmg in 2 sec. I had the same thought as yours when i played with stock gun but when i got autoloader gun i've changed my mind.
In my view, this tank should definitely be played with the autoloader, not with the single shooter gun.
Tier 8 prefers the single shooter, 9 and 10 no brainer autoloader.
The single shot gun is more viable now thanks to it's better stats. It's also helps that you won't get caught out on a 25 second reload and have more consistent DPM and accuracy.
VZ 55 Wasn't even that powerful. Why nerf it. I think it was already perfect considering the power crept meta.
So the pattern in this wot era is to have the tier 8 premium tanks better than the tier 10s of the line now yep I'm looking at you BZ and VZ lines.
That guy was me LOL, I told you before then I changed my setup. Surprisingly this tank still works but not well like previous patch... Still a good tank but IMO not Epic category anymore, due to bursting ability and worse gun handling.

I just researched the last gun of the tank one day before the announcement of the nerf....
yes they did bouth vz55 and vz 51 and i dont know if they mention in the patch the nerf of the VZ 51
Now they handicap the Vz51 to the point the single shot gun is better than every ways. No point to try the auto loader gun, it's worse than the premium tier 8 skoda t56
For me it’s not unplayable but they kinda cut the fun part of the tank
The gun is meh, now with more intraclip and longer reload is for sure more boring to play
Like 268/4, they are both fine, but i find them mediocre ,me and my mates prefer to use other tanks like s conq, 121b or tvps
exactly its just another good tank now it lost its fun factor
The thing that added the fun factor to the VZ was that it was just straight up better than most of its competition

Thanks for my daily dose Skill. I feel this tank is still baboon approved the only thing that I've personally had to adjust in my play with it is the aim time. The inter-clip I managed to get my head around the first game I played with it but it took me a good 10 games to get 5 clips to pen in a match.
I really don't notice much difference, you trade two shots for one. Was kinda broken before.
with the single shooter gun i think its super similar to 277 but only the speed loses a bit 🥴
277 has way better armor and 340 heat dude

As a fluffy super unicum... this tank is still incredible. The intra clip time does allow for a person with good reaction time to react in between shots, even if tracked, which before was nearly impossible. The other changes can be worked around, with improved equipment you will be still able to punish other meta tier 10s and stay competitive.
I was sad when heard of the nerf because Im grinding it as my first autoloader. VZ deserved a nerf imho but WG should be more gentle when ''rebalancing'' tanks. They tend to do it too much or too little, like with E5 that was once OP after armor buff and then nerfed it back to where it was before the buff (when I almost had it, just like VZ :(
Skill! I think you would have done and can do better with the single shot gun. Not a big nerf, but most of the situations the base gun is better now.

Yea they masacured this tank. And i swear they made the turret much more pennable. Before nerf it was normal to bounce 3k no problem. Now it feels like every shot fired at me penns 80% of the time no peoble.

I have heard from a friend that plays this game from the start of day that the obj 905 I think is called is the best heavy in the game, is it true?
I don't think there is a 905. 907 is a very strong medium, 705A is a pretty mediocre heavy that's lead into by the 705. It can be invincible once dug in properly, but has awkwardness with the gun, turret position, and depression that make it fairly inflexible.

to me the clip reload and the aiming time nerfs were totally unnecessary , having t8 dpm in t10 match up is really a pain , it surely isn't competitive now
You have 1k burst. Autoloaders don't rely on DPM, they play with good burst.

@@maeljuhel7423they don't. DPM isn't nearly as important 90% of the times as people are pretending to be. How many times are you firing on reload? If you don't have dogshit DPM like Rino, DPM doesn't matter as much.
@@maeljuhel7423 DPM is absolute avg. max damage tank can do if every shot hits + pens and that means you shoot right after reload which does not matter because you will never be able to do that unless you want to be blown up in the 1st minute
what matters more is actual damage especially if you have longer reload because you want to slap as hard as you can than to run back because 100 damage every 4 seconds vs 50 damage every 2 seconds could look same but could be different because you don't want to let person with 50 damage gun farm you for free

I have skill as my commander in the VS 55 with an all girl crew.
it lost around 750 DPM..
Compleatly justified nerf and little to no difference. Compared to what they did to kranvagn the nerf was like a tiny baby step adjustment. For me its still definetly in epic category.
yeah it's basically a jagpizda with mobility. Hitting 1000 when you land both shots every 30 seconds or so
i think nerf intra clip and total reload time is reasonable. but the longer aiming time with the derp gun? questionable
Longer aiming is to not change the feeling between the shots - to not be fully aimed thanks to longer intra clip, but still have to choose if you want fire immediatelly or wait that half second (or whatever it is) longer to be fully aimed.
Stock gun has still a decent DPM and better stats now. Worth a try...
Interesting is, good players and streamers always are fine with the nerfs and declare the tanks : playable
„ Normal „ players love this tanks because you are able to perform over your average stats, for them this tanks are not op!
WG introduces this tanks and after a while, when you grinded the tank and enjoy it it gets nerved. Progetto 65 for example

VZ 55 is good , not a beast as it was, but good. It feels the nerf and your idea to change the rate from index is good as well.
I don't think VZ. 55 being a "beast" even before the nerf. I never really had any problems facing that tank.
WG just nerfed it solely based on its popularity, which is reeee tarded, and plain stupid.

I honestly think its justified, if vz55 peeks you are just robbed of 1k hp, and now u have aim just a little bit or try your luck with snap shots.
tier 10 heavy only playable with gold spam.regular shels u can spam only if ure 2 tier highter,that is hiden truth.
That's not true, while gold spam gives you a bit better avg dmg per battle, i avg 3,8-4k dmg with my tier 10's only using standard shells.

"How they massacred my boy." These players are often those that can only cut it in the most meta tanks out there. Ofcourse they would complain when they get nerfed. This is why i love skill. He just plays all kind of tanks and still manage to do it and even likes some qualities on tanks that are considered "bad". Like my boy the t25 Pilot.

A true good player can make even the "worst" tanks work by playing to the tank's strengths/quirks. I love my Rino and I find it very enjoyable to play.
Still a goood tank, never been epic for me cause of gunn trolling.
All the tanks of CC are 20% better then the rest of us "normal" players.... so....

2,5 sec is better then 2 sec so people has more time to have better shot. Others are minor compared to tank origin. Nothing major
Maybe 4/5 for the armor but the gun change shouldnt knock it from 5/5.
Could left as it was but longer time between shots than 2,5s, that was and still is the issue.!!!
If the tank is free and it's good it will be nerfed.

how does wg class tanks, ht should have armor and good damage per shot, wg has classed tanks in the wrong class, the armor on the vz 55 is not good, it has amor of a med, a weak med armor smilar to a t62

Played it a lot in Onslaught and there it's still very strong. No issues whatsoever.
For me Its still amazing tank,Sure you can feel diffrence but its not that big to really stop playing this tank or forget about it and sell it out,so saying tank its unplayable its a bit too much in my humble opinion.
even with his armore i managed in a tier X game to do 10k block with it. :D So it works if you can find the angle. And with the tier 9 TNH i made almost 9k block. :)

These nerfs have hurt it. It is not as good anymore. It is still playable but there are better tanks to play at tier 10 The armor has always been meh. The DPM was weak now it is weaker. Tier 8 heavies have better dpm. Aim time is longer and they added a half of second to the bust rate. To the guy who says it is still very strong I have to respectfully disagree.
It's still 1000dmg in 2.5 seconds, that 0.5 second nerf is barely noticeable. It's not supposed to have good DPM since it's an autoloader and I honestly don't see many better tanks at tier 10, probably the s conq or Vk HEAT.

Then Amx 54 and the 60tp are both better than the vz now. The gun handling has been hampered. @@friendlyreaper9012
