“ Set goals. Smash them. Never apologize for being awesome. “ Welcome back Gabrielle, We love you 😍 We appreciate you showing up when you do over here on the Gabefix. Thank you for sharing this twist out vlog. Your hair looks gorgeous 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Have a wonderful day and a blessed weekend.🙏🏽✌🏽💕💚
I love the Doux hair products by Maya Smith. She's a hairstylist in Macon, GA. My daughter turned me on to her products and I'm in love. I'm mad too because over this 12-year journey I have wasted so much money trying to keep my hair together. 🙄
I would say that stress would probably be the biggest culprit with the issues with your hair far as growth and fullness. I've been a peep since Ceej was about 6 months old, and maybe it's me, but I feel like you had more of a sense of peace within just being a mom and wife and making content for the fun of it. Just with all the different changes you and the fam experienced over the years: from you and Chad transition to doing this full time to all the traveling to buying a home to IVF to having Reagan to family losses on both sides to Mom's cancer to the evolution of social media in a not so carefree and positive lighting.....it all over time probably just had an affect hormonally and this is how it manifested. The important thing is that you are recognizing that you lost yourself in a way and how you were affected, and I pray in whatever way , you refind and rediscover that Gabrielle again 💕
I really appreciate this. You’re right, it’s been a lot over the years when you think about it. Creating content only for fun was a lot less stressful. Thank you for the prayer and encouragement!
Omg my life has been lyfing for 5 years 😳 🤦🏿♀️had a baby in 2016 (last of 4), went back to school and moved🥴 and sooo many other life changing things BUTTTT IM BACK LIKE THE JUMPOFF 🤎I've missed GabeFix!!! Catching up on GabeBabe Tv!!!!all week!!!!! I'm so excited to be back!!!!! 🤣🤣😍🥂
Gabe, the feel and look of your hair is different because of the gray. I stopped coloring my hair back in 2020 and let my gray come in and my hair is now thinner in the crown due to age and the hair that is predominately gray has a mind of its own and won’t curl naturally. I just chalk it up to age and embrace it.
HI, GABRIELLE, YOUR HAIR LOOKS PRETTY, THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR HAIR TUTORIAL, HAVE A BEAUTIFUL BLESS SAFE WEEKEND AND MAY GOD BLESSINGS,COURAGE AND STRENGTH CONTINUE TO BE WITH YOUR FAMILY ALWAYS 🙂💖🙏🙏🙏
I can totally relate to the thinning in the perimeter of your hairline. I've noticed it more since 40. My dermatologist said it's very common for women to have thinning in that area as they age.
Gave thanks for sharing! When I retwist my hair I do the banded method which gives me the stretch and volume, while still maintaining the definition. I also wanted to share that your Nan Nan helped me to figure out why I was have so much breakage when she use to do Regans hair. For years I felt with extreme mid shift splits and on server all occasions my hair fell out like tinsel😢. Basically, I can’t put coconut oil or high amount of protein in my hair (ex. Keratin, rice, or wheat etc.). Which is the majority of hair products. After many years of struggle I finally figured it out and my hair is flourishing 🙌🏾! I have a five year hair goal and I am conscious to enjoy the journey! Although I can’t use the majority of the hair products promoted in the natural hair community, but I learn a lot from the haircare tips (specifically protective styling), and I take inspiration from other naturals sharing their story/journey.
My hair is thinning in the front and no one can tell but me. My hair also stops growing for no reason! I am still true to our girl Whitney. I use Melanin faithfully. Im so glad you're back! You are beautiful as usual
I’m not gonna lie-I was a devout Shea Moisture curl enhancing smoothie user, but here lately that Moeller twisting cream has in a chokehold. My hair is just as thick as yours and it doesn’t give me any frizz
Your twist looks good. And I don’t like first day twist out either! And your grey looks fabulous. Please embrace it. Please😊. Have you tried any of the Doux products? My mom and sister love them. I’m late to the game. Now I’m I’m like it as well. I bought the foam.
Gabe you have some major supporters on this channel. I remember you doing these types of videos before Chad and the kids and your channel is still getting those good views, that says alot. What is the surgery you mentioned, scared me a little. Your mom made it through thank God, and now you're talking about surgery. Did I miss something? Either way, I pray you get through your surgery successfully. P.S. Your hair looks good, stop being so critical of yourself, it was great.
Love these hair videos Gabe! I too need a trim and my twists are not looking quite right. So I understand totally but you and your hair look fabulous! 😉
Gabe, check out Strands of Faith. Natural hair product. I have been using it for two years now and I am retaining so much more length. I love your natural hair and hope you wear it out more often. Blessings. 😊
I like day two with the second product. Did you re wash your hair before using the second product? How did your hair feel? Your twist outs always look really nice thanks for sharing this video.
It's not a fail. I recommend using foam to set your twists. Twist creams can give definition but typically don't provide any hold. The Doux Mousse Def is a good option and you don't need a cream under it. If you do want to put something under it just make sure it's really lightweight or it will take away from the hold that Mousse Def provides.
I love your curls I have been natural for 10 years and I started rocking my curls during the pandemic. I would love more hair videos and you could also do a crotchet hairstyle for recovery.
I’m so glad you did this video literally a few weeks ago my daughter asked if you wore your natural hair and then the next week you were wearing it out more… so I sent it to her on IG. She said she loves your hair and wanted to know what you used
Your twist out is gorgeous Gabe, I went through hair thinning in my 40s and it was all hormonal and from over exercising but I worked on it and got it better now that I’m older the top is finer than the rest of it ❤❤❤❤
I went to my gynecologist and she said my iron was low and I wasn’t eating right at all and I always pushed myself to hard exercising 5 days a week and it threw everything off track and my hair started trying to thin in the top, soo I took better care of myself and my hair and it got better and I am a older woman
By working on it, did you have to change your diet, like eat more vegetables? The reason why I ask because I'm low on Iron and my hair is also thinning and I'm 40+
Your hair looks great but I understand what you’re talking about I don’t have thick natural hair like yours I braid mine a lot but I give it a break for a month or so Can’t wait to see your sulk press
Not hair related. But which Apple Watch series are you wearing? I’ve been on the fence of getting my first Apple Watch. I currently wear the Fitbit charge 3.
I like watching your family you motivate me to do a lot and I worked out today 29 years old and I've been watching your Channel since since your son was born in 2013 and then I was watching when you had Reagan and then when you went to a lot and then I know you lost Oscar I know how I feel cuz I lost my dog almost a year ago
Part of it is aging. The other part if it is the wig wearing. Anything that rubs or pulls effects the texture, strength and growth. I love the grey. I welcome it. Probably cause I welcome the blessing of aging. Your moms hair is BEAUTIFUL! As long as the grey is pretty and healthy, its beautiful. However, whatever floats your boat....
I twist my daughter hair, using a twisting cream and Mielle's foam n it will last 2 wks!! No bull! You test the mixture by dabbing the two in your palm n mixing it in....if it melts away, then it goes well together!! If it looks like cottage cheese then its a hard no!! But mousse goes well with twisting creams n souffles'!! What happened was....you used two of the same thing! You should use a cream n mane choice gel or cream and mouse next time!! Those define your twists!!!
@@TheGabeFix you are welcome. Especially the apple n aloe curl elixir and the cream by tajid or however you spell her name. She has the best defining creams n I mix that with Mielle mousse. I swear...my daughter 4c hair lasted for two weeks!! But, we use the creme of nature shampoo n conditioner set with Jamaican oil( its green n brown set) that mixture helps the hair come out beautifully
You look beautiful. I think the Mane product look worked the best. I have to try that one. Right now I look like Jay Z without the money 😂. What a shame.
For your recovery time why not do your own hair with the crochet hair. You always do a great job. That will certainly beat sitting in someone's chair for hours on end. You always look so pretty.
Hi Gabe, I know that this comment is late, but I still hope that you see it. My suggestion is, if you have a set hair stylist who you trust with your beautiful locks, call her and ask her does she think that a protein treatment and deep conditioning treatment would help solve the problems. Be Blessed
Have you ever tried a flat twist out? See how you like that. I feel with my hair my results are better with a flat twist out. I love seeing you with your natural hair by the way!

Thank you!! That’s another brand I need to try again. It’s been awhile since I’ve used it.
Yes I believe it is the wigs causing the thinning. I know someone who has been wearing a lot of wigs and lost a lot of her hair in the front
I’m not gonna lie-I was a devout Shea Moisture curl enhancing smoothie user, but here lately that Moeller twisting cream has in a chokehold. My hair is just as thick as yours and it doesn’t give me any frizz

Yay! Your hair has been looking absolutely fabulous 👌
Could you please make a video of Rey's hair routine and what products you use for her hair! Tanx

We don’t mind you rambling lol that’s what helps with the hair videos 😁
To hard on yourself/hair its nice
Thanks!

do you still use distilled water? washing
I like day two with the second product. Did you re wash your hair before using the second product? How did your hair feel? Your twist outs always look really nice thanks for sharing this video.
Love the second twist out.
I first discovered you through your hair tutorials. Your twist out looks good.
I'm so glad to see you back on the Gabe Fix. "Hey Girl hey"!!
Day 2 hair was definitely better. Your earrings and sweater 😍
Looking good girl and I'm loving those "date night" earrings that are making you look rather glamourous! Have fun!
❤😍😍❤
Yes, thank you!! I pulled those earrings out the vault 😂
Absolutely Beautiful 🥰🥰

Looking nice love it nice & healthy & cute alright now ❤
As I Am defining cream never worked for me 😣 I always had to use the double butter cream for my twistouts❤ Enjoyed the hair care video Gabe!
Gabe, your hair is beautiful!
Thank you!
Your hair is lovely
friend this is cute!! i love that grey curl in the front!!
I’m so glad you did this video literally a few weeks ago my daughter asked if you wore your natural hair and then the next week you were wearing it out more… so I sent it to her on IG. She said she loves your hair and wanted to know what you used
Aww that’s perfect timing! I have a natural hair playlist that might be helpful for her too. 😊
@@TheGabeFix good to know I’ll share it with her! She’s 17 and loves doing it all with her hair
Your twist out is gorgeous Gabe, I went through hair thinning in my 40s and it was all hormonal and from over exercising but I worked on it and got it better now that I’m older the top is finer than the rest of it ❤❤❤❤
Can you explain how over exercising made your hair thin?
I went to my gynecologist and she said my iron was low and I wasn’t eating right at all and I always pushed myself to hard exercising 5 days a week and it threw everything off track and my hair started trying to thin in the top, soo I took better care of myself and my hair and it got better and I am a older woman

@@aishanicolelifestyle8289 yes I did and my body was deprived of the nutrients it needed and I was also going through menopause
@@jacquelinehazel so menopause takes out your hair too
It looks good and your makeup is on point

I don’t have thick natural hair like yours

Ayyyee, good for you getting it in today!! So sorry about your loss too, it’s tough.
Hey peeps!! Hey girl hey!!
Beautiful hair
I love the hair videos!
Are you using a wig grip? It helps to protect your edges/hairline.
Yes but I feel like it does more harm than good? Maybe it’s because I still use the combs with it. 🤔
@@TheGabeFix Yes, it's the combs.
U r beautiful Gabe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hair is popping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is so sweet, thank you!!

You are gorgeous, day 1 or day 2 long hair or short hair. Just my opinion !!!!!!
Twist with the perm curls
❤❤
Get a briad wig you can wear it anytime
What surgery are you having?
🙋🏾♀️
Have u heard of hair loss due to COVID?
As I've gotten older, the crown of my hair is falling out and thin.
If you continue to wear wigs, weaves, braids with added hair your natural hair will be thin.
That's not always the case...
The twist out is cute but your hair needs more moisture. Moisture is the key to natural hair. 💖
