For Step 2 I think the chance to get fragments is higher if the enemy is under strand debuff or killed by strand

For anyone struggling with Step 2: Fragments Acquired, You have to be on where the Bluejay Quest is telling you to be at. You have to have Strand Subclass and a Strand weapon. You can get it from using your Quicksilver or other weapons apart from your abilities. You can kill Vex or Cabal, doesn't matter. You DO NOT have to be doing an Event, or Patrols, etc. It takes some time to get it. I wasn't getting it quick like in the videos but slow is better than none at all. Hope it helps.

For anyone struggling with the last step ( hard rest ) as a warlock better equip arc subclass . to benefit from rift will help you healing and killing to extend timer. use crown of tempests as a helmet will help you restore abilities and also extend your super time. the 3rd bomb before facing the boss is the hardest one. there is a trick just race to go there. then cast your super . jump1,2,3,4 ( 1st square in front , right, center then bomb area ) don't waste time you will find yourself behind the bomb with super active . finish whatever next to bomb with super and detonate bomb .

For step two go to where the quest tells you to go instead of going to the vex incursion. The quest marker for me was in a different location than the incursion. Just kill with strand in the quest location.

There is a partition backtor entrance, that part is much easier to do than the normal partition part :)

as a warlock .for hard rest i had a hard time with strand subclass then i switched to arc with crown of tempests as a helmet to extend super and restore abilities it was a joke very very simple to accomplish the quest .

Fragment is on Ahimsha Park, use Strand super, ability or charge melee, higher rank enemies, higher probabilities to get the fragments, 8 fragments around one hour to grind.

How do you have your Striga set up to be so stable and deliver a tight grouping like that? I have mine masterworked with 18,530 kills but it's like hanging onto a fire hose and the rounds exit the barrel looking like I've flung a coffee can full of nuts and bolts. 🤣

Gotta love rng heavy missions..also the fact I can’t organically experience this dlc without them forcing me to use strang. I get it,you want us to use the new subclass,but why make quest tedious to do when we are using strang. It’s bad enough that we have been heavily been nerfed down,survivability wise.
