The unbiased, uncut reviews are the reason I always come back to your videos! The bird part was very funny. And your video was very informative! Thanks!
Man, I love your review style. The truth and individual experience without sales BS is so refreshing! I can't watch the Lancaster reviews... Like you say, everything is the best ever with zero issues and perfect in every way.
I have to tell you that this video was very refreshing. The "Eagle" part literally made me laugh out loud. You're full blown honest review style is the best on TH-cam. Please never change your style, I'll always come back for more.
The most honest reviews from a shop I ever heard. This guy wants to know if P.J. Reilly ever shot a product he didn't like.... and why John Dudley's name isn't at the top of every record book if he is that great???? I thought only I had these questions 🤣 Thank you so much for the videos, and for an opinion connected to reality
Sir I love your videos. Your reviews got me to buy my PSE Carbon Stealth and to shoot Victory VAPs. Every time I need sth I look up your channel and see if you already reviewed it.
The bow feels out of wack because of the new release. Anytime I change releases I have to change the draw length and peep height to suit the new release. Great review! Love the honesty!
Hi from Holland!! We love your reviews !! thanks to your review i bought my new bow last year and now i'm thinking of buying this release. Thanks! and go on like you do !
That will be my first handheld release for sure! Just spent a bunch on a bow though, so have to wait for a while! Starting to dislike the inconsistent feel of my index release, my wrist seems to be a size between two holes, so it's either too tight or moving on my wrist.
Not the TruBall. It’s a aluminum version of Scott Apex head. The hook is slightly more square and a tiny bit longer as the apex won’t stay on, the gaps a little wider.
I know what you're saying. I own a Stan SX-3 & a Stan Perfex. The Perfex is a size L but the SX-3 is a size M. The design is so different & the Perfex feels smaller & not as solid as the SX-3. But it's all about personal preference. I prefer the SX-3 even though it doesn't have that catch mechanism on it. Total Peep makes a great product that u can stick on the bottom of the release that sticks to the string if u r a hunter & climb up in a 🌳.
The UV Button is a very nice thumb release. Is it worth the price they're asking? It might have been if they included more parts. All you get is the large thumb barrel and a 3-Finger extension. If you want to shoot it 2 fingers or 4 fingers, or use a smaller thumb barrel, you have to buy them all separately. The Stan Onnex is less expensive and comes with all of that (except a 2-finger plug for the handle). I did a long-form review on my channel, if anyone's interested.
@@5jjt certainly, but that market is absolutely saturated with holster makers. I managed to find a niche that wasn't occupied (release aid holsters and fitted pocket/thigh quivers).
Dropping my Perfex for one of these the second they release it in large (bet that's months away) but without shipping it will cost more than the Stan which is already hectic pricing. I'll be designing and making different angle post so it will be as adjustable as the Stan. Will send you some when they're ready. 3D printed in Stainless
Throwing shade at PJ, twice no less was funny. You're right about him shoots the Elite Verdict a month ago, best bow he's ever shot, shoots the new Hoyt Stratos 2 weeks later, best bow he's ever shot. I don't know what Truball / Axcel are doing right now their stuff is as rare as rocking horse poop and yet I've seen they've recently purchased two more CNC machines. So can only assume that a lot of the stuff was being machined in China and Covid screwed them so are now bringing that stuff in house and still ramping up.
I've allways shot back tension and I simply shoot better with back tension. Because after a few shots in thumb mode, I start to do slacky shots. But I'd love to try and shoot 30 arrows or so with this UV thumb release to see if thumb shooting works better with this release, than with my Carter Attraction.
So funny, I started fishing for bass 2 years back. I was watching channels that where cool and then all of a sudden, they were promoting reels and baits simultaneously... now I get back into archery, and the cool channels all promote the same stuff, mathiews bow and uv stuff... don't watch TV anymore because of all of the propaganda bs... hope it's not a trend here...🤷♂️🤦♂️love your channel by the way.. from canada 🇨🇦!👊
I’ve got two truball ht’s in fabulous shape. I will never sell them. I guarantee if these were reintroduced sales would be good crazy. I’ve been using them since they came out for my target and 3-d ( when the damn wind isn’t blowing). The Carter Total Control is probably one of the best back tension releases ever made.
You won't have any problems out of the UV Button release if when you pull back, keep your palm down, thumb under bar and when you get at draw, turn palm outwards, bring up your thumb and squeeze the trigger. The UV Button release is the best on the market and worth every penny. I have the large version and love it a hell of a lot more than my other wrist release.
@@haggis357 I’m 6 foot 5 and it fits perfectly but I do have sort of skinny fingers and u could go on uv website and get there try before you buy release to see how it feels
No you're completely right there's no way in h*** that can hold the pressure of a 6070 or 80 pound bow at all It is only used for to hang off of your bow
Hey Steven: If you want an in depth brake down of this UV Button check out the Chris Bee TH-cam channel, he is a professional archer from the U.S. and he helped develop this release, he’s the real deal and like you, does a lot to promote the sport of archery as well! I started shooting a thumb button for the first time in my life this past January, A Tru Ball Rave I ordered from Lancaster Archery, after several months of blind bale shooting I’m now shooting better then I ever have! I have a second Rave on order from Lancaster, but like you mentioned, I could be waiting awhile! If I find the need for a 3rd thumb button down the road I’ll definitely be giving the UV a try, problem is I only have 1 release hand as it is! 😂
I don't think ultra views string keeper is any better then stans new onnex thumb release. They look identical. I think the onnex has been out for months

you should try the hinge 2
If I am not mistaken this release is $350. I bought a T.R.U. Ball beast XT for $100 and it is awesome. I think it was reviewed here

I am going to make sure I have a couple ginger ales when I get my UV Thumb in 4 to 6 weeks!
Best thumb button on the market
Looks like a home run. Keep it! Lol Let us know how he likes it.
I would love to see how it treats D-loops… just saying other UV products have eaten them well in the past
So far mine hasn't been hungry for d-loops. Shot the R100 with it and my d-loop looks fine.

When is it available in Australia?
3-4 weeks Ultraview is all sold out.
Best release out
Merlin archery in the uk have afew tru-ball release aids in stock.. hit them up maybe they can do you a deal etc?

If your archer dont like the size, you can send this one to your bigest fan from Serbia :)
Looks like a great release but the €305 type price tag is a bit much 😱

love your videos. did you draw the bow back the way you said not to??
This is supposed to mirror the Hinge 2.0 and not the original one which you did a review on.
Dose it come with a 4 finger extension. Cheers for the vid
Nope. All extensions besides the 3-finger have to be purchased separately.
I don’t have a compound but I want this release 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

$350.00 USD. No release is worth that.

give it to jimi ellis to tryout
big bird flying around in your store, sure, you off your meds again mate, he he...
It flew through the door and was going off. Here we go Im going to loose an eye, while filming. Could be worth a few views.
