LadyHawk- How exciting to have Stormy back in the nest. He sure seemed happy to be home. I watched most of the day and he sure enjoyed laying down in the nest for quite some time. He played with pine cones, wingersized, hopped out on the far end of Moms branch jumping up and down wingersizing, and just had a good day being home. So proud of him finding his way back to the nest. TY so much for capturing, editing, and sharing his return.
Awesome!!!! Sormy brought back 🎵that sunny day🎵 🌞 And so many interesting things in the video, like when Mom accidently stepped on him about 16:10. He sure let her know!! I think he was clearing out the nest bowl, not reinforcing the rails. Wanted a comfy space to lie down. That's why he even moved the pinecone! Thanks, Ladyhawk.
I watched it live this morning and my heart grew, jumped and fluttered with joy!!! It was so nice to see Stormy in the nest again, eating himself into a food coma, then sleeping on his overstuffed crop pillow, sprawled out in the nest with his beak straight down in the nest ❤️🦅❤️
Wonderful moment. He looks great and relieved to be back in his own bed. One can only take so much of that survival camping. There's no place like home.

Hi Cathleen Beveridge - Stormy will be twelve weeks old on Monday! He hatched on 2.11.18 - he was gone almost 9 days from the time he slipped off the nest.

That is so awesome just the body language and the eyes when he looks face on the camera and looked exactly where the baby was coming from watched it every move coming up that tree and the minute that baby hit that Branch got out of the way so he can start eating thank you so much we love you lady Hawk❤🦅🦉🌵
Ohhh thank you for posting!! I know it’s not unusual for the babies to fledge early, but sooo wanted him to come back so I could see him again. He’s definitely grown & gotten stronger. 🦅💜🦅
Thank you for the update. It is amazing to watch the process and see how mother nature takes it's course. I love the fact that the humans kept a close eye but did not disturb or interrupt nature. The mom and dad are so dedicated it is beautiful family.
that little cheeky guy. he was hunkered down a lot and then started going out to the perch and flapping. just testing the waters, i guess. then a nice fish came in and man was that little eagle hungry. i think in general he is very happy to be home. thanks for this update, LH.

Hi LH and everyone! Like sooo many other human beings and along with his parents - 'been checkin' on this precious boy every day, multiple times over. I went over to the live cam just now, saw him in nest and got goosebumps!! My heart danced for joy! 'Found this video of yours and was thrilled to be able to see the WHOLE thing! Thank you so much LH! We love this boy! Man, he is making sounds that I've not yet heard an eagle make, lol. He HAS to be SO overwhelmed to be back home! Got more goosebumps as I listened to him and watched Mama feed him. 'LOVE his parents too = sooo obviously attentive and bonded to him = beautiful!!!! Mama's eyes as she heard him coming home were just incredible!!!! This makes my whole day!! WELCOME HOME STORMY!!! Proud of this boy!! But hey, he IS an EAGLE after all! Lol. =D♥

Firmly believe that this was the climax of that gradual, yet intense crescendo, since 06:23:15 on 04/24/2018, that we were all waiting for, in unfolding of this sweet life story. I know, I've found my soundtrack music, as played here, to be added only next to Art J Harriman's music & Mel Blanc's, whenever I drive up to Big Bear. Its time to bring out our inner eagles and Go young eagle, Go.

Seems like you didn't like how your home was when u arrived so you said well Mom I'm gonna rearrange all your sticks cuz they're all in MY WAY!! HE appears to have gotten a LOT STRONGER TOO after watching him /her moving some of the heavier stocks around nest!! And squeeking... MUST STILL BE HUNGRY. He got food while being out but not enough.
