@shearcreatif Thank you for the sub and the comment. Lusting is a good word to describe the pull that an M has on anyone that understands the value. Most just don't get it. I hope you find your way into your own M11M, because it is like no other.
well, #1 is we have to embrace it. #2 I think it opens up the doors to a new form of artists. prompt artists. So yea we now have other ways to create photos outside of cameras. I think its a great opportunity for creation. I also think over time it values even more those who capture true real moments with their cameras. Now where the line blurs is what is a real moment vs what is 100% generated vs what is an altered moment. At the end its all about representing what we have in our minds and how we relate to the world around us
Benoit, I agree 100%. I was thinking about this video after I posted it. I realized we are gonna have film photographers, digital photographers, AI digital photographers and everything in-between. But your last comment is so true because in the end we are creating and it does not matter "how" as long as we keep creating. Thanks for adding to the conversation. I appreciate you.
Wassup Mr. Espinal! It’s misa. I just saw the TH-cam notification where you got back to me. Sorry for the late response! Hope everything is good with ya. Love the videos! I hit you up on instagram. I started making videos for my company and just wanted to thank you for teaching me something that’s paying for the bills. So thank ya!
Yeah, it was something I thought about after the fact. But AI is gonna change photography forever. The cat is out of the bag and I'm afraid it can't be put back.
It sorta freaks me out. I’m definetly not going to use this. I’d rather make mistakes so that I can learn from them than relying on fixing my images with AI. But Im not a professional, I can imagine people using this who have to deliver something.. I have no pressure whatsoever.
Hey Thomas thanks for stopping by and dropping a comment, I agree with you. As creatives we should embrace AI to our advantage, while also being truthful to ourselves and our viewers and potential clients.
Hi, I Say No to AI in my photography or any photography simply because if you missed a shot or framed/ composed the photo wrongly it's your fault can't add what is not there. Of course one can cropped or re framed the shot in Post but to add what was not in the shot in the first place defeat the purpose especially the purpose of an M camera. I can't see the ethos of Leica along AI. As for Media agency's etc yes it make total economical sense to use it to their best advantage. Thanks, Dominique
Hey @dominiquepierre-nina4581, thank you for watching and adding your comment to the conversation. You make a great point. I feel the same, but I do find AI to be helpful in certain moments. Again it's all about our intentions as creators. AI blurs the lines of what is a photograph and what is graphic design. But we shouldn't be afraid to learn to use it to make our creations. To me AI is no different when we consider the impact to the calculator vs. abacus. Which would you rather use for your taxes?
Hi Jay, Hahahaha well I went to school in the 70's so I actually know how to use an Abacus and do a Long Division... So if the Calculator dies I am ok. AI is here and here to stay no point fighting it, but for I as a Photographer or dare I say "Artist" I will keep my work as pure / true to the medium as possible. As it is, more or less every Photographs I see is looking the same super slick and well "composed". As an investor in Art and photography I would refrain from investing in a piece of work where AI has been involved because I feel the Artis did not create it him or her self, so the value will not reflect. Ps I am one of those Leica Nut I have the M9, M246 " Your mark edition" M240 Safari set and the M3 ... Hahahaha . regards, Dominique A @@jayespinal
New to your channel, already saw some videos and they were promising. First of all, you need to think what you want to shoot when you are on "the set", that is part of good photography. Although through your extension the car would be in a so called rule of third spot the negative space above it is IMO too big. Now adding some extension in the first try was not so bad but rest was too creative and certainly not welcome. Your camera is one of the best out there so let it do the work 100% controlled by yourself. Adding/Changing (beyond basic edit) stuff (now called AI) is NOT NEW, cause we did that over 20 years ago but then we called it "a COMPOSITION" but at least we had all the controls. This is more or less the same for people who haven't any photography or photoshop skills and are not that creative with editing. Would you be a person like that ? 🤔 Thanks for sharing
To be honest, if you ask me... I think this will just make os even more lazy, or unaccessary. Why bother getting the perfect photo on spot when you can fix anything at the computer later... Like, I guess this will fix over/under exposure soon as well. Compared to back in the days we already are lazy as F*ck, I love my M10 and I love that it has a OVF so I can force my self to just shoot with light meter and OVF to get some training. Shooting with an EVF is easier, but it makes you less focused on the process, you just adjust until it looks good and that's it. I'm not a big fan of AI, buts it's a part of us now so ....
Hey GJ_frames, thanks for watching and leaving a comment. I totally agree with you. AI is hard to dismiss but too impactful to ignore. The way I see it: I need to fully understand how it works so that I can properly ignore it. lmao.
@@jayespinal haha, that's the way to see it! :) I guess even how much I hate it, we need to learn living with it and use it when it really needs to be used. My philosophy is that you don't always need to have a great result. And you learn by your fales. So if we have a tool that can repare our fales every single time, we don't need to evolve our skill more, because way take that extra time and really nail something, when you can fix it in post? And if you do AI to much in your post edit, is it really a photo by you then? Have you even been there? For example in your edit. If someone in your neighborhood sees that photo, and then see that same spot. I guess they wonder where the tree you stood under is. It had kind of special leafs. We build a fake world for some reason. :/
This takes the phrase "I'll fix it in post" to a whole new level. What do you think?

Interesting for shure and scary like you said. Keep it up!

You probably needed more headroom for the trees because they don't naturally taper of as acutely as the fill space allows.

@@jayespinal the cat came out the bag and are it. There's no where to out it :-)
interesting, are there premiere beta versions also Jay?
yeah but you won't see them while in school. Has to be outside of the school Wifi. Not sure why.
Can you try colorizing the image as well?
That's a great suggestion. Imagine the AI making the BnW into color! now I have to give it a try.
Been using it to remove subjects in the background of my images
SpaceyGrey it’s hella useful.

I understand where you’re coming from Midas, but I feel as though it’s here to stay and it’s gonna be the new normal.
It’s a tool, and I have used it to remove people from my shots. However, like any tool it can be misused.
