    AHH finally someone has explained why you weight shift early!! Thank you. Neither Theo nor Chris explained that in an understandable way.

    Yo he hecho wingovers con el parapente de radio control y no parece dificil y eso que solo tiene frenos para controlarlo, a ver si me animo a hacerlos con el parapente de verdad. Muchas gracias por compartir estos vídeos.

    Thanks Ari, I really appreciate these tutorial vids. I'm just learning WOs and doing them on my dudek nemo A wing, which requires more work, but if I can pull them on it, I will have that much more fun with them in the future on my next glider. I'm just getting to that point of horizontal body/wing position and starting to feel this slack, I was studying some video of mine and was realizing I was already using both brakes some like you mentioned before the vertical point, great to understand why now. I've kind of naturally learned it without instruction yet (not first hand anyway), but going slow and I've done probably a thousand turns practicing, with thousands more to go. Thanks so much! I love em!

    Hi Ari, first I would like to thank you for your videos, because you are teaching me how to be save and to progress in one thing that I am very passionate about- paragliding. I was wondering, why you don't have video of how to spiral? You have for wingovers, for Heli, for almost everything but spiral. It will be great if you make a video on that matter and specially how to properly go out from spiral.

    I'm headed to Aviator for training in 3 weeks and am really stoked. I definitely want to learn wingovers eventually, but I can't see me doing things like SATs and barrel rolls. It just seems too easy for something to go wrong. I'm still amazed people do it so confidently and without killing themselves. Does that reluctance leave you after you've been flying a while?

  • @gulliveradventuresin

    Love the way you explain.
    I am practicing weigth shift wingovers. I grab risers to increase the weight shift.
    At one point when wingos are gettting bigger and bigger I am want to add brakes but my hands are on the risers.
    Any suggestion?

    • @AriintheAir
      @AriintheAir  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Gulliver. I would say, stop grabbing the risers all together! It is a bad habit. Consider donating to support the show at @t

    Another super valuable resource, thank you Ari! Just curious, it sounds like you are saying that you are a "paraglide pilot" vs a "paraglider pilot" - is it just your accent that hides the final "r", or...?

    Do you think its okay to practice asymmetric spirals without being over a lake ? And also, should I start by learning the full stall ?

    • @aykutbaytar8315
      @aykutbaytar8315 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! I am not an instructor but I wanted to share my opinion since noone else has replied yet. For the first question, I think you should practice them over a lake/sea if you have not completed any SIV trainings. Nosedown spirals Ari mentions in this video could be quite dangerous if you don't know how to exit them quickly. And for the second one, I definitely would not recommend starting by full stall. Full stalls could lead to other dangeorous scenarios as well so it is better to start with more simple stuff (small asymmetrical collapses, frontacs, small wingovers and pitch control).

    • @aurelg3367
      @aurelg3367 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@aykutbaytar8315 hey, thank you for your answer, that's very kind of you.
      I have completed a SIV course since then and I have done nosedown spirals since I started to fly, I'm used to it and I later started doing SAT. So in my case I know what a full stall is and I'm just wondering what could go wrong while practicing asymetrical spirals 😊👌🏻
      Thanks 🤸🏻‍♂️🪂
