That's not how remastering works. Aside from the mid-scoop that can be fixed with real-time eq, there is nothing wrong with those recordings. Maybe a bit of modern convolution reverb can help as well when listening on headphones.
What do people expect? He puts 100% into every album, obviously it gets difficult to maintain that style of vocals as you get older. If you demand perfection on live vocals you might as well just stay home, or go see younger guys like Dynazty/Nils Molin who are still young enough to sing live at 100% power. He's still a brilliant songwriter either way.

Many people his age would be in assisted living situations, let alone expected to maintain the same lung capacity they had 50 years ago. Unless he has some underlying sickness or something I'm not aware of, safe to say I'm absolutely devastated by his vocal performance. James Hetfield of Metallica is 60 years old and his singing is better by a mile.
