6 year old was set homework regarding goal setting and I had no idea where to start and how to even set a goal properly and this was so helpful in explaining to him (and me) how to set a goal in writing.
I use this video in my classroom to help motivate my students to make goals for each Benchmark during the school year. The students are very into making their goals.

My SMART goals and going to every class every day. Why you ask because if I miss a class, I will miss important information. Like how to do the work for today, what work needs to be done. Maybe they went over the test material and if i wasn't there I missed it. This is a daily, to weekly, to monthly process. Using a day planner will help also setting alarms on my phone for the times of my classes on those days.
Great video mate - my goal is to run 100km trail race in September 2024. Recently completed a 75km race. Have broken the goal down using your simple steps and will remember to look at the goal regularly as training becomes more difficult.

Hey guys, I noticed no one in the comment section actually shared a goal like the guy requested. My student in my resource room has happily volunteered to share their goals in this comment section. Student number 1... their name is Andre the Great- Andre's goal is to be the greatest wrestler of all time. Since this is a SMART Goal. In 6 months from now, Andre will learn 5 new moves and come up with 3 catch phrases. He will practice wrestling 3 days a week for an hour each day.
My goal is to learn a back handspring as I'm in to gymnastics by the end of May but I sprained my wrist so I cant but it feels better now and when the trampoline parks are open I'll go and learn it on a trampoline instead as my friend recommended, he has his back handspring so yh I'm hoping to achieve this goal. I am very determined as I spend all of my free time after school doing the drills and gymnastics at the park.

So, I write an goal as "In two weeks, he will be playing cards with his friends". Coul you "change" this goal into a SMART goal and let it clear the Relevant topic? Thanx indeed.

put your video games in a drawer or somewhere you cant take it. and fight the urge to play them. you will see that within days your urge to play video games will decrease.

Setting goals costs nothing, but helps to achieve your dreams so WHY NOT set goals?! I just made a video about SMART goals as well. Hopefully everyone will take the time to set goals and design their life rather than just see where life takes them.
