Just been to see Peter Kay live who a shadow of himself Not only looked unwell, lost a lot of weight & maybe lost some of his edge with his comedy But the arena was full, sold out tonight & tomorrow & more dates to come But for me unfortunately disappointing
Just my personal feeling on it, but for me, comedy works better in a City/Town/Civic Hall, theatre etc. For me. When you start taking it to arenas or stadiums it loses that intimate feel in front 40,000 say rather than 3 or 400, you know what I mean. I'm glad I went to watch him during the Bungalow tour, it was held at our City Hall and works that way IMHO. 💯
I can only imagine what Ricky Tomlinson was thinking whilst the "Blonde Bombsite" was waffling on?! 🤭🤣
