Thanks for watching the video. The whole interview is actually 6 hours long. I'm gradually uploading the different parts of the interview each day. Please watch the interview playlist so you can hear the music between the talking segments. Also don't forget to subscribe!. Thanks :)
"Runnin' (From The Police)" in the GREATEST Hip Hop posse cut in history. The opening bar, BIG's verse, Pac's verse.... The sample. It should be held as a legendary moment.
In case it hasn't already been mentioned, "Munchies for your love" was also flipped by *John Bido* for Scarface's "Now I feel ya" off of his 2nd solo album *The world is yours.*
2:30 in when he is talking about speeding records up, another legendary sample was the live version of Cerrone's Rocket In The Pocket(1979) where they sped up the beginning. Sampled by many. Now going in the other direction of slowing songs down, one legendary joint was UFO by ESG(1981). Monster joint that was heavily sampled.
Eminem's version is dope and served the purpose it was meant to be as it was released part of the Soundtrack for Pac's HIGHLY anticipated documentary/ film "Resurrection"... and as Mo Bee said, it was a PERFECT fit. And the Sample was the cherry on top.
@Syphonpsx Tupac is the greatest clown 🤡 of all time..went from school of performing arts acting with jada Pinkett to background dancing wearing pampers doing the humpty dance to acting in the movie Juice as this tough guy..Once he saw the popularity he got for the role in Juice he became Bishop in real life a fake so called thug as Biggie subliminally dissed him in Kick n da door song on life after death..Pac rhymes were basic ordinary and he struggled with his delivery where Biggie flowed wit ease and his word play were far more superior..Things Biggie would say make u rewind over and over scratch ya head just to catch wat he was sayin his inside rhymes and the way he flipped his lyrics. Pac wasn't as gifted as Biggie and that is the truth 💯
That picture had to be around the above the rim movie 🎥 because I seen the whole pic & Marlon Wayans is sitting in the background. And plus the bad boy poster was on the wall and it wasn’t the logo we all know. It was an actual lil boy. So probably 92
So far, you missed a big chance to ask Mo why they changed the reggae singer doing the hooks on all of the three original versions (first buju banton, then lil vicious and then red foxx).
Talking about the remix to Runnin From The Police, being from the UK like i am do you remember the Remix called "Runnin" that was released over here in 1998? It was remixed by Dutch producer StoneBridge and stays true to the original with some added sounds. Its much better than Eminem's later remix

6:36 The famous picture you're talking about was taken by Dream Hampton (who did Surviving R. Kelly) and prior to their arrival at the Royaltan Hotel.

Afeni Shakur gave Eminem her blessing to produce the soundtrack.

Buju wasn’t on the song. Wikipedia is wrong ….but yeah you’re right I should have asked him so he could set the record straight
I think it was Pan Head
