Hey everyone, writer here again!
Everything that Snake mentioned, sans the part about Valeria, actually happens in the Metal Gear game series, btw. Specifically, it's stuff from MGS1 and 2. (Our version of Snake is from after the events of MGS2 and a few years before MGS4.) It's wild stuff. Snake will have a much bigger role in the finale, so please look forward to that!
As previously mentioned, we had to start using Creative Mode maps for most of the episode since we lost access to the BR map in creative. Any scenes on the BR map has to be filmed in short bursts in custom matches, that's why we couldn't use the actual inside of the Slumberyard, or Fencing Fields. Thanks for bearing with us.

You can tell that whoever wrote this knew their Metal Gear, not usually a fan of Fortnite short films but the accuracy to MGS was really dope!
Hi, writer here! Believe it or not, I've actually never played the Metal Gear series, but as soon as it was revealed that Snake was coming to the Fortnite, I did a deep dive into the lore and the entire storyline and consulted someone who'd played the games to ensure that I got all the details right.
Stay tuned for our season Finale, Snake will really get his chance to shine there!

these short films catched me, the lore is on point, the music fits, and the story makes on top sense, pls do the full story of it its incredible, and i liked how Jones is still the most important character here

Yeah, we had to use custom games to film any parts on the island. The interior of the club and the tasting room scenes had to be done on Creative Mode maps since they took longer to film.
Weird rant but I hope fortshorts (and Fortnite in general) portrays Zeus and most of the other Greek gods as villains to be a tiny bit more realistic to the myths
I know fn will probably do the stereotypical “Zeus is noble and hades is evil” but Zeus was horrible, probably worse than ares. Most of his stories are an about him doing pretty bad deeds as well as “courting” others in different devious ways. I know fn definitely won’t go that far with him but I hope they at least clarify he’s not good.
Also side note: if the season is about Olympus vs underworld, I’m team hades all the way. I like how hades is typically shown as an evil dark lord but in reality he’s probably one of the best Greek god’s, he’s also one of the only ones who’s loyal to his wife if I remember correctly.

@@kitsune2909Right now it looks like the Greek Gods were imprisoned inside Pandora's Box, so I don't think FN will be portraying them as good guys. Besides, the new guy in charge of the story, Charlie Wen, worked on the God of War series, which featured the entire Greek Pantheon as the villains, so I trust he's not going to make them good, either.

Hi, writer here, I explained this in the Hope Sad Origin story episode's comments.
In our story, Nisha and her family are Indian, but adopted Italian culture as their own. Valeria was written as Italian because of the Italian influence on the design of the current island, but has Greek ancestors. This will be addressed in a future episode.
