Gr8 Stuff, Owen....Seems like I'm the only one that thinks RDS is JTR, eh Owen....47 Years old and yep, was in London Hospital Whitechapel for the duration of the murders, where he had a base and an alibi....Cud have quite easily have sneaked out of the hospital late at night/early morning, as there was minimal security and the night nurse, I have read, was required to clean toilets, wash rooms and surgeries in the middle of the night, meaning there are long periods of time where there is ample opportunity for RDS to slip out of the hospital. Wore soft soled shoes and made no noise when walking according to some witnesses, if it was JTR they were looking at, eh Owen....Likely it was RDS and he had lodgings in Castle Lane and the landlady said he was rarely there....She sneaked into his room and found a closed box which had ties covered in blood, which it is believed he carried the body parts he took, like a kidney and a number of uteruses....She never contacted the police about it, which is why he wasn't ever investigated, eh Owen....He discharged himself fm The Hospital in early December 1888 and in late December was called in to an interview with the Police after George dobbed him in, but he was cleared and even offered info about Dr. Morgan Davies needing to be investigated, as he thought he was JTR...He was never investigated, but RDS got away, eh Owen....BTW, Alice McKenzie was murdered in July 1889 in Castle Way very close to where RDS lived, but interestingly he checked himself back into the hospital just before the murder...Another alibi for him, eh Owen....Frances Coles murdered in early 1891 and it was said that confidants were told by him that this will be the last. Had an epiphany just after this, eh Owen...Happy to be the only one that thinks RDS is JTR, but interested to see your choice in a couple of podcasts from now, eh Owen. Cheers fm Damo.😀
He is up there as a high level suspect. My theory is a well-known one,, just not a widely accepted theory. ( Oddly, it doesn't rule RDS. I've been dropping hints in most of the videos. ) The story teller in me wants everyone to see where I was heading when I reveal my final page. 😁
@@OwenNeidhart I think your clues are indicating William Bury, but I cud be wrong, Owen. His wife may have confronted him about it & then he killed her with the same MO....Put signs in their house that JTR lived there...Hmmm. Cud be a good choice, if I have guessed right, Owen..RDS my No. 1 then Francis Thompson, but William Bury cannot be ruled out, eh Owen. Cheers fm Damo🤗
Perhaps Lewis Carroll (Charles Dodgson), eh Owen. A Writer like yourself, doing a reveal on the last page, but look forward to many more suspects being exposed. Cheers Owen fm Damo.😀
White Rabbit on tap in some of your bar backgrounds, eh Owen. Alice In Wonderland, Carroll unlocking/unleashing his sub-conscious mind and possibly doing unconscionable things like murder, eh Owen. Maybe one of your clues, but hope I'm on the right track. Cheers fm Damo.😎😉
You say that you have 2 more suspect videos to go. I would suggest that the 2 best suspects that you haven't covered yet are Charles le Grand and Thomas Cutbush, and that Albert Bachert is also better than several of the suspects that have been covered.
Definitely an odd bird. Does his age at 47 hinder him? 47 in 1888?! Don't think he knew the streets, BUT... did he hire someone who did? He's so very curious a suspect. Ty for the vid. Nicely done. Look forward to your personal perspective.
Whitechapel at the time attracted quite the eclectic group. 🙂 Hiring someone to do the crimes so you can solve them is a very interesting perspective. 🤔 It's adds another element to him that I didn't consider. 👍
I don't see much reason to suspect Stephenson. He was odd, had surgical ability, we don't know what became of his wife, and a couple of people at the time suspected him. That seems to pretty much be the case. His interest in black magic means nothing to me. It's questionable that he could have left the hospital and returned without being noticed, and he would have had to have done this 4 or 5 times. And if he had, what would he have done with the organs that he took with him? He was 47, not old enough to entirely rule him out, but older than the Ripper is likely to have been. BTW, not all of the murders occurred on the weekend. Tabram, Nichols and Kelly weren't.
The timeline of a couple don't add up. That is ascertain made by the authors of the books. Very interesting character regardless. Thanks for the support. 👍🙂
@@OwenNeidhart You're welcome. Re-reading my post, I see that i left room for misunderstanding when I said, "That seems to pretty much be the case." I might look like I meant "that seems to be true", but what I meant was, "What I've mentioned seems to pretty much be the entire case against Stephenson."
It's possible though in my view unlikely that he was JTR.
Yes, he's a polarising figure in the Ripper saga. I'm not convinced myself either.
Thanks for watching. :)

My inner thoughts and monopoly board coming alive! Got to love that ❤
I thought this bloke looked oddly familiar.🤣👍

Two more suspects before I give my view. The series will continue after that. Just thought it was time to state my opinion.
Good video as always Owen!
Thanks, I hope when I pin my colours to the mast everyone will understand . 👍🙂
