Also ging es **gewohnt zivil vom Balsthal aus vorbei am Thunersee und dem Brienzersee zum ersten Highlight des Tages: dem Grimselpass mit dem Teufelssee (der Grimselsee ist ein gutes Stück vorher)
Nach einer kurzen Fotopause ging es weiter zum Furkapass und von da aus zum Mittagessen am Steingletscher.

Patrice: Our guide (Hightower) has a body length of 200 cm.
Thomas and Bernie are "only" 170cm tall and got along well with the K16. Once the K16 is rolling, it is surprisingly handy. However, you should think carefully about how to park. You definitely don't want to push the battleship.

Also just bought a 2014 GTL here in Australia... the nicest of my bikes so far... although I also like the K1200 RSP.

Hallo Holger, danke für das Kompliment. Schön wenn dir die Filme gefallen - steht und fällt aber immer mit dem angeliefertem Rohmaterial... ohne die vielen laufenden Kameras hätte ich schnell nix mehr zu tun.
Selbstverständlich dürfen bei uns auch neue Gesichter mitfahren. Wenn du die Filme aufmerksam verfolgt hast gibt es einen harten Kern der die Planung und Führung übernimmt und drumherum immer mal wieder neue Mitfahrer - manche nur einmal - manche dauerhaft.
So als kleiner Tip : Melde dich einfach mal in diesem Forum an, stell dich vor und mach/lies mit. Da werden anstehende Touren üblicherweise zuerst veröffentlicht.

Hello from Wisconsin USA. I fell in love with Switzerland in 2000 on a ski trip to Interlaken. The people are just fantastic. I bought a K 1600 gtl last year and would love to join you guys in the future on this tour. The owners wife of the hotel we stayed at took me up to Grindelwald for a awesome ski day. She introduced me to so many great people, The view of the Eiger is breathtaking. This video brought back some many great memories. Stay safe.

Just a question, saw at 4min. the navigation. Which one do you prefer= The V of VI of BMW? Still I love all the vids! Keep on going.
Hi Michael, i use the old IV; some V, some VI .... take the newest one !
@@sirarthurbmw1841 , having the Garmin 590LM but unfortunately it can't fit into the space for the Navigator from BMW (the 590 is too thick). And heard that there a lot of people having issues with the VI.

When you and your friends are on the road while biking, how do you guys communicate with each other? Is there a specific App that you use on your phone? or some other device that connects with Bluetooth? Because I can't seem to find any available now.

Dana Lin , we have No Communication between the drivers. Only between driver and k1600 for Music , Radio. Navi and Telephone.
Every Hour a Short stop to Drink and smoke - that is enough.

Ich fände es besser ohne diese aufdringliche Musik...
Wir sind zwar mit Kameras gut ausgerüstet - allerdings nur mit den eingebauten Micros - dann nerven ganz schnell die Windgeräusche - ich mach heute abend noch mal den Film ohne Musik und dann kannst du morgen im direkten Vergleich mal reinhören, ob es dann insgesamt wirklich besser ist.
Hallo Septembermorgen, ich hab mich mal bei einem Fachmann erkundigt und habe nun bei meinen letzten Filmen die Musik deutlich niedriger ausgepegelt. Unabhängig vom Musikgeschmack würde mich interessieren, ob das für deine Ohren angenehmer ist ?!? Bin gespannt. Suche einfach nach Sir Arthur BMW und dann die neuesten !
