This is great! I like how you can faintly hear the original in the background, like a ghost of the original while this version takes precedent.
Nice! Interesting to see how different approaches we take are, for the loud organ melody I used single notes for the pedal note and octaves for the rest of the melody... made it a nightmare to practise live though 😅
Actually, would you be interested in collaborating on a project? Your arranging skills are infinitely better than mine, these are definitely the best arrangements for a piano sound that exist, I'm much more inclined to playing music myself. Could be neat to work with you on making one of your arrangements playable and getting out a live recording. Let me know if you'd be interested.
I may be! I stylize my work as a form relating to 'black midi' but a lot lot less notes to have it be audibly enjoyable. I do that to cover my severe lack of an ability to play piano.
I do want to eventually work on a 'playable' version of everything I've made but again that's so insanely out of my skill range.
