      mayne,
Similarities between Dhul Qarnayn and Prophet Sulaiman alaihi salam.
Here are the lists of similarities between the two characters.
      1️. Kingship
Only two Prophets were mentioned as King in the Quran. Prophet Daud and Prophet Sulaiman Pbut.
      Dhul Qarnayn was a king.
      Qs 18:84.
Surely We established him in the land and granted him means of access to everything.
Prophet Sulaiman Pbuh was also a King.
      Prophet Sulaiman Pbuh - Qs 27: 16
And Sulaiman was Dawood's heir and he said: O men! we have been taught the language of birds, and we have been given all things; most surely this is manifest grace.
      2. Both were blessed with many great things to help them accomplish their tasks that was to spread the word of god. Missionary.
Both made journeys far and wide.
Dhul Qarnayn - Qs 18:85. So he followed a way, 89. Then he followed a way. 92.Then he followed a way.
Prophet Sulaiman Pbuh - Qs 21:81,
And (We made subservient) to Sulaiman the wind blowing violent, pursuing its course by his command to the lands which We had blessed, and We are knower of all things.
      3. Prophethood..
Dhul Qarnayn - Qs 18:86, 87 & 88. Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it [as if] setting in a spring of dark mud, and he found near it a people. Allah said, "O Dhul-Qarnayn, either you punish [them] or else adopt among them [a way of] goodness."
Until when he reached the place where the sun set, he found it going down into a black sea, and found by it a people. We said: O Zulqarnain! either give them a chastisement or do them a benefit. He said: As to him who is unjust, we will chastise him, then shall he be returned to his Lord, and He will chastise him with an exemplary chastisement: And as for him who believes and does good, he shall have goodly reward, and We will speak to him an easy word of Our command. He said, "As for one who wrongs, we will punish him. Then he will be returned to his Lord, and He will punish him with a terrible punishment. But as for one who believes and does righteousness, he will have a reward of Paradise, and we will speak to him from our command with ease."
      This verse has the same meaning as in surah Yunus in which Allah Subhanallah ta’ala mentioned as;
Every community has a messenger. When their messenger has come, judgment will be passed between them with fairness, and they will not be wronged.
When messengers reached a community, they preached Allah’s word and established law and order. Shariah law.
      Prophet Sulaiman Pbuh - Qs 21:78 & 79.
And Dawood and Sulaiman when they gave judgment concerning the field when the people's sheep pastured therein by night, and We were bearers of witness to their judgment. So We made Sulaiman to understand it; and to each one We gave wisdom and knowledge; and We made the mountains, and the birds to celebrate Our praise with Dawood; and We were the doers.
      4. Both were able to understand many languages. Polyglot or multi linguistics is an asset for travellers.
Dhul Qarnayn Qs.18:93. Until when he reached (a place) between the two mountains, he found on that side of them a people who could hardly understand a word.
*Qs.14:4. And We did not send any messenger except [speaking] in the language of his people to state clearly for them, and Allah sends astray [thereby] whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
Prophet Sulaiman Pbuh - Qs 27:16
And Sulaiman was Dawood's heir, and he said: O men! we have been taught the language of birds, and we have been given all things; most surely this is manifest grace.
      5. And here’s the best part.
They were both given the technology to manipulate both iron and copper!
      Dhul Qarnayn - Qs 18:96
Bring me blocks of iron; until when he had filled up the space between the two mountain sides, he said: Blow, until when he had made it (as) fire, he said: Bring me molten copper which I may pour over it.
Prophet Sulaiman pbuh - Qs 34:10, 11 & 12. And certainly We gave to Dawood (Sulaiman’s father) excellence from Us: O mountains! sing praises with him, and the birds; and We made the iron pliant to him, Saying: Make ample (coats of mail), and assign a time to the making of coats of mail and do good; surely I am Seeing what you do. And (We made) the wind (subservient) to Sulaiman, which made a month's journey in the morning and a month's journey in the evening, and We made a fountain of molten copper to flow out for him, and of the jinn there were those who worked before him by the command of his Lord; and whoever turned aside from Our command from among them, We made him taste of the punishment of burning.
      6. And both refused to accept gifts.
Dhul Qarnayn - Qs.18:95, They said: O Dhul Qarnayn! surely Gog and Magog make mischief in the land. Shall we then pay you a tribute on condition that you should raise a barrier between us and them
Prophet Sulaiman Pbuh - Qs.27:36, So when he came to Sulaiman, he said: What! will you help me with wealth? But what Allah has given me is better than what He has given you. Nay, you are exultant because of your present.
      Allah knows best.
And May Allah guide us to his straight path.

@@Malx_IX one question, if it was the case that Suleiman (AS) is Dhul-Qarnayn, then why did Dhul-Qarnayn ask for the manual labour of the people, when Suleiman (AS) had control over the jinns? Wouldn’t he have just commanded the jinns to build the barrier?

i'm very pleased and fortunate to be a native arabic speaker actually the holy Quran is way more amazing while comprehending and listening to it in arabic, sadly a little bit of its beauty is lost when translated to another language, Actually the Arabic language's words are very intense and wonderful they have a profound impact in one's self than an equivalent word in another language, However scholars said there is a prospect that the day of judgment all people are going to speak arabic even though their mother language was different in this world

    • @Diamondraw4Real
      @Diamondraw4Real 4 ปีที่แล้ว

@Borsalino Kizaru the books were revealed in different languages that's what we know for sure.

    • @mohamedab9033
      @mohamedab9033 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@Borsalino Kizaru Semitic languages, like Hebrew, Aramaic and Arabic, all are derived back to the one original Language of the first civilization on earth around 8000 years ago. Hence why they are the most mathematically accurate, most original and most infallible languages in human history.
And God has chosen these languages for this very specific reason to send his books to humanity.
Now, all holy books that were written in Hebrew and Aramaic got corrupted. This is why God sent another prophet with a book to clarify his message to humanity again, this time in the last semitic language that has never been used before, Arabic.
And this time, God said, in 15:9 "Verily it is We [Allah] who brought down the reminder [Qur'an] and it is we whom will preserve it".
God chose Arabic as the final language of his holy guidance, and he here promised to preserve the Qur'an in the Arabic language till the end of time.
Hence why, on the Day of Judgement, when the people will be handed down their own records that recorded their whole lives from birth till death, God will bestow upon every single person, even the illiterate, great knowledge and capacity to read and comprehend these records, including the ability to speak and understand Arabic since it is the last chosen language for the Qur'an.

Most likely Dhulkarnejn was the great ancestor of Turks, known as Oghuz Kagan or Bilge Kagan, a title interchangeably used for him, who conquered east and west and north to south. His story was recorded on the Gòkturk (Orkhon) inscription stones, erected in modern day Mongolia, namely the historic birthplace of the Turks. He was not a pagan as were Alexander, Darius or Cyrus the greats, but a monotheist, which regarded Kök-Tengri as the single one and the only omnipotent creater of the world. His campaigns and conquests were written on the monuments, which are absolutely parallel with the narrative of the Holy Quran, that gives the story of Dhulkarnein at the end of the Surah al Qaf. As Zhulkarnein made his voyages and campaigns east and west, the inscription in the Orkhon Valley also mentions that Oghuz Khagan made his voyages to west and east and led the peoples where he met with the help and will of Kòk-Tengri, namely to the God Turks called. Furthermore in oral history and cultures of the Asian peoples, Dhulkarnein was known as the prophet sent to the Turks by Allah. Of course, Allah c.c. knows the best and He has the secret and sacred knowledge which we never comprehend with our simple minds...

Here are 28 Tips revealing how you can earn the mercy of Allah, earn a position in Jannah, have your prayers answered and earn multi-billions to trillions of good deeds and in conclusion please Allah:
    1. Whoever recites Ayatul-Kursi (Surah @5) immediately after each prescribed prayer, then nothing can prevent him from entering Paradise except death! - Memorise and recite this ayah if you want Jannah. There are other virtues to Ayatul-Kursi!
    2. No one will enter paradise because of his good deeds but because of Allah’s mercy (Bukhari) - Always beg for the mercy of Allah and repent for taking any wrong path. His mercy you will earn as Allah is Al-Afu (The Most Forgiving). One of the best times for this is prayer times. Note: Those who are merciful will be shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to those on the earth and the One in the heavens will have mercy upon you (Tirmidhī 1924)
    3. Whoever performs wudhu (ablution) and does so well, and then says: “Ashhadu al-la ilaaha illallaah wahdahu la shareeka lahu wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa rasuluhu” all 8 gates of Paradise are opened for them and they can enter from whichever they wish! (Sahih Muslim) - Wudhu in itself has many virtues to help you enter Jannah.
    4. Whoever prays the two cool prayers (Asr and Fajr) will go to Paradise. (Sahih al-Bukhari). - NEVER miss any of your daily obligatory prayers. Each participates enormously in making you among those who enter Jannah. For sure you wouldn’t miss one of the 5 pillars of Islam?
    5. Perform the 12 key important Sunnah mu’akkadah rakats. It is stated that: "Whoever prays twelve rakats in a day, a house will be built for him in Paradise (Sunan an-Nasa'I Vol 2. 1811)
    6. Perform The Night prayers such as Tahajjud or Qiyam ul layl. Research why & see their virtues .
    7. OF COURSE AS A MUSLIM YOU SHOULD KNOW AND NEVER IGNORE THE 5 PILLARS OF ISLAM ALONG WITH THE 6 PILLARS OF FAITH
    8. Whoever asks Allah for Paradise 3 times Paradise will say, ‘O Allah, admit him to Paradise.’ Whoever seeks protection from the Fire 3 times, Hell will say, ‘O Allah, protect him from the Fire.’ (al-Tirmidhi, 2572)
    9. Whoever calls the Adhan for 12 years, Jannah will become mandatory for him. (Sunan Ibn Majah). - If this is so perform the Adhan even when you pray alone! Note: A female doesn't perform the Adhan
    10. After every prayer you can In sha Allah have wrong actions forgiven even if they are abundant as the foam on the sea. For this when you are performing the Tasbih say: Subhana'llah 33 times and Allahu Akbar 33 times and Al-hamdu lillah 33 times, and seal the 100 with La ilaha illa'llah, wahdahu la sharika lah, lahu'l mulku wa lahu'l hamd, wa huwa ala kulli shay'in qadr (Muwatta Imam Malik) - Allah is Al-Afu (The Most Forgiving). He shall Insha-Allah bless you with his mercy
    11. Laa 'illaha 'illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa 'alaa kulli shay'in Qadeer Subhaanallahi, walhamdu lillaahi, wa laa 'ilaha 'illallahu, wallaahu 'akbar, wa laa hawla wa laa Quwwata 'illaa billaahil-'Aliyyil-'Adheem, Rabbighfir lee - Whoever says this will be forgiven, and if he supplicates Allah, his prayer will be answered; if he performs ablution and prays, his prayer will be accepted. (Al-Bukhari, cf. Al-Asqalani, Fathul-Bari 3/39, among others. The wording here is from Ibn Majah 2/335) -
    12. Allah's Messenger went to bed, sleep on his right side and then say, "All-ahumma aslamtu nafsi ilaika, wa wajjahtu wajhi ilaika, wa fauwadtu `Amri ilaika, wa alja'tu zahri ilaika, raghbatan wa rahbatan ilaika. La Malja'a wa la manja minka illa ilaika. Amantu bikitabika al-ladhi anzalta wa nabiyyika al-ladhi arsalta! Allah's Messenger said, "Whoever recites these words (before going to bed) and dies the same night, he will die on the Islamic religion (as a Muslim). [Bukhari]
    13. When you beg Allah for his mercy for all your sins ensure that you also beg for his mercy for any SHIRK that you may have committed knowingly or unknowingly in your life. After a person dies, they will not be forgiven for shirk. The only chance of forgiveness for shirk is if one repents BEFORE they die.
    14. Indeed, anyone who fasts for 1 day for Allah's Pleasure, Allah will keep his face away from the (Hell) fire for (a distance covered by a journey of) 70 years (Bukhari)! - Fast regularly e.g. Mondays and Thursdays.
    15. Fast in Ramadan as it is one of your 5 pillars and continue on with fasting in the 6 days of Shawwal where it is Sunnah for you to fast in which you get a blessing of fasting for a lifetime (At-Tirmidhi) - Imagine the good deed behind fasting for only 6 extra days
    16. Whoever takes a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him the path to Jannah (Jami` at-Tirmidhi)
    17. Whosoever last words are: La ilaha illa Allah, will enter Paradise. (Sunan Abu Dawud). Beg Allah every day to make these your last words. Allah shall respond to you as he is Al-Mujeeb (The Responsive)! Never quit begging Allah! One of the best times to beg Allah almighty is when you beg Allah almighty for something in the times of obligatory prayer.
    18. If you want a very high position in Jannah beg Allah to be blessed with one of the best positions of Jannah-Al-Firdaws. BEG IN ALL YOUR OBLIGATORY PRAYERS and other good times about 3 times or more. NEVER STOP this! You will In sha Allah get a response of a Yes. Many reasons for this e.g. Allah is Ar-Razzaq (The Provider) he shall provide you with the good answer
    19. Recite Durood/Salawat regularly. Many virtues from a Durood. Many different Duroods available to recite with great benefits to increase your chance of entering Jannah. Research them. Reciting a Durood is showing love for our Prophet (PBUH)!
    20. Most beloved deed to Allah is that which is done regularly even if it is small. Perform a specific good deed regularly for example reciting a specific surah of the Holy Quran every single day. One example is Surah al-Fātiḥah: gives a reward of reciting 2/3 of the Quran which is equal to about 2,157,807 Good Deeds (rounded up & from the view that Quran has 323671 letters).
    21. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: ‘Whoever reads Surah al-Kahf on the day of Jumu’ah, a light will shine for him from beneath his feet to the clouds of the sky, which will shine for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will be forgiven (his sins) between the two Fridays.
    22. There is a surah in the Qur'an, with 30 verses, which will intercede for its companion (the one who recites it) until he is forgiven (Surah Mulk) (Sunan Ibn Majah) - Recite this surah every day. If you do so you will gain the mercy of Allah (a solid help to enter Jannah)
    23. Allah has 99 names, 100 less one. Anyone who learns them will enter Jannah. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) - By definition: Memorizing the names, understanding the meanings, acting in accordance with their implications and calling upon Allah by them will earn you a position in Jannah.
    24. One can earn good deeds even after death: “When the human being dies, his deeds come to an end except for 3: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.” (Sahih Muslim 1631) - Note that the beneficial knowledge is one of the 3 ways to earn good deeds even after death. For this give all out there your beneficial knowledge of Islam to help them for their afterlife. Whenever they practice what you teach them you gain good deeds. Even if you pass away you gain good deeds because the help you gave out will Insha-Allah be spread out for generations and you would gain good deeds whenever anyone practices from the help you once gave out after it reaches them due to you. Imagine earning multi-billions to trillions of good deeds In sha Allah!!! Your position in the afterlife will be Jannah from something simple you do. So why not do it?
    25. Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi (Glory be to Allah and Praise Him) - Whoever says this 100 times a day, will be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as the foam of the sea (Bukhari) - Recite these strong words every day and In sha Allah the mercy of Allah you would gain (a solid help to enter Jannah). There are other virtues from reciting this (one more listed below).
    26. Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi - He who recites this in the morning and in the evening 100 times, will not be surpassed on the Day of Resurrection by anyone with better deeds than one who utters the same words or utters more of these words [Riyad as-Salihin Book 16 Hadith 44 - Collected from Muslim] - Imagine bringing Multi-Billions of good deeds or even trillions in the day of judgment for something so simple. Just start and don’t quit (recite everyday).
    27. Earn the strong supportive Dua of Your Parents for your afterlife
    28. REMAIN IN THE RIGHT PATH ALL YOUR LIFE (avoid doing major and minor sins etc) Please share this so that other muslims can benefit and learn from this list. And Allah azzawajal will reward you.

It is *recommended to follow Sheikh Bilal Assad and/or Sheikh Imran Nazar Hosein and/or Sheikh Hamza Yusuf* for the prophecies and knowledge of *end times* or *Islamic Eschatology* . They're experienced in this sector of knowledge and all of them have a decent level of education, all of them are professors/teachers in different institutes, Imran hosein & Hamza Yusuf are principles of two islamic colleges, Sheikh Bilal Assad is a prominent & admired scholar and teacher. where Yasir Qadhi is still like an amateur, he tells and asks himself and contradicts too much and in order to match things with Ahlul Kitab (jews & Christians) he confuses things way too much, leaving more confused of what we know/heard and those Sheikh speak with proof and speak of what is authentic and not in doubt as this is a very critical topic...

But the Bible blessed Cyrus the Great.
Doesn't that make him a monotheist?
Cyrus is also a zoroastrian, like Darius.
What makes Cyrus a polytheist and Darius a monotheist?
Can please pass my questions to him?

Brother, Dhu Qarnain he was Himyar Sabean KING FROM YEMEN and that was long long more than 7000 years ago. And name Dhu Qarnain is Nick name.
All the the Sabean KINGS they use Nick name and the word ( DHU ) to start with the name, means (The) for example (THE TWO HORNS) the Eagle, the bull , and more.
The SABEAN are FIRST PEOPLE to use IRON and to mix of IRON and COPPER to build the MA'ARIB DAM IN YEMEN , the DAM OF MA'ARIB was the one provided water to the (TWO PARADISE ON EARTH) one on the right and one on the left.
They had an experience to build the Walls by using IRON AND COPPER. So he knew what to do with the WALL of (JUJ WA MAJUJ) And another SABEAN KING (KING OF TUBBA)he used to say DHU QARNAIN was my grandfather.
Definitely not Not Alexander the great and not Cyrus .

the ancient arabs are indeed monotheistic
