You’re welcome! I’m just wondering if you could tell me how it helps with your creative works. I find that interesting. 👍🏻

@@davidrogol I've been developing a ttrpg set in a sci-fi fantasy world and learning about devices such as the pocket sun dial has been crucial in finding a good middle ground between science and magic. The notion that you'd have to have different sun dials for different worlds is very exciting and I've even came up with a spell concept called "recalibrate" where someone can cast it and the device would be properly setup for the world you're on or fix any technical issues with other gadgets.

Wow, that’s a lot of detail. Interesting. I have a friend that creates environments in a game called Rec Room. Thanks. 😄

I wanted to comment that you had a Mr Rogers type vibe that was really refreshing until you threw in the made in china comment that showed your true bias that was not necessarily needed in a child friendly environment which children have enough to deal with without anyone teaching them how TO BE biased so unsubscribed

I appreciate your honest concerns and respect your decision. I’m sure I’ll turn a lot of people off over time unless I stifle all my true opinions. Hope you’ll reconsider someday and focus on the good things, if there are any. Btw, I love the Chinese people themselves and hosted Chinese students in my home for three years. I just don’t like the unfair trade practices that have destroyed American manufacturing.

@@davidrogol I get so do I but what’s any of what you just said have anything to do with pocket sundials or teaching a child how to use one?

Good point. I guess it’s just as much as old stone walls have to do with sundials; absolutely nothing. But there’s no objection to stone walls?

@@davidrogol I’m glad I unsubscribed because you’ve missed the point by even asking about an objection to stone walls?? As if bringing up stone walls in a video adding about the history of them is even remotely the same as adding a random clip of you saying I have to take a dump is the same thing

I think I get the point because stone walls and sundials are as different as Made in China and sundials. My videos are on a variety of topics but they’re not everyone’s cup of tea.
