StudioJ, pls take care of these kids. Your experience with Day6 should be enough to know how to promote your bands the right way. So happy to say that I stan another group from debut from JYP. Stanning Day6 was the best thing I did, now I also have Straykids and Xdinary Heroes to fall in love with over and again.
JYP actually did the right thing in regards to their promotions with DAY6. They were aiming to be recognized as a BAND in Korea, not an idol band. The fact that they managed to emerge successful in just 3 years--- getting awards left and right plus topping the k-music charts, is a huge feat in itself. Not all bands in Korea can do that. Only idol bands with idol promotions can but the respect would be different.
@@veeveegem The busking was the members' idea, not StudioJ. Day6 also started big because JYPe gave them exposure pre-debut but after the JH scandal, their growth became slow. They got the recogmition now because they worked hard for it, like superhard, the way Jae was exasperated talking about how they had to have concerts every month during the Everday6 era that he was joking why not make the concerts daily for them. Their songs creeped into Koreans' hearts slowly because tgeir songs are great, regardless of promotionas. Other band were able to appear on national programs that have a huge chunk of followers, something JYPe/StudioJ did not do for Day6. Hyukoh was abke to nake it big after appearing in Infinite Challenge, the only big show Day6 had appeared in mayhaps was Immortal Song and of late, King of Masked Singer. And to think that since most soloists didnt renew their contracts in JYPe, StuJ only had technically Day6 to take care of for years.
Me watching this video normally: "EHH?? THE VOCALS???!!! Wooaaahhh...." And then O.de starts rapping: "OMYGOD OMYGOD OMYGOD SO CUUTTEEE AAAAAAAA CUUUUTTTEEEEEE OMYGWWAAAAAAADDDDD CUUUUUUUTTTTEEEEEEE😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭."
No wonder why Jungsu was chosen as the main vocalist of the group. His vocals are so damn good and he has range. Jooyeon also sang so well; I love his falsetto and adlibs. His voice is really sweet. Gaon has a nice distinct voice (even if he got nervous here) and I look forward to hearing him more in songs. And wow, O.de raps really well! Overall, this is a group with talented members and I look forward to more of their activities in the future.
@@LuNa-wo8iu as far as i remember day6 not specifically spoke whos the main vocalis , just said all of them all vocalis in group and their can changed whos being main vocal in every song that fit their vocal best..correct me if iam wrong
