An America-made "Folder" with tension-cable, increased-strength engineering! An American "Brompton" with a HUGE price advantage for USA riders! Too Sweet!!!
@@garyseckel295 @2:57 hey Gary, I'm not trying to be a punk, but it definitely doesn't say MADE IN on the stem, it simply says USA - 1982. There's no indication this is made in the USA. I say this because I'm pretty sure there are no large bicycle manufacturing plants in the US, only small volume hand-made fabricators. Even the guy in the video gets it wrong, he says "even says it's made in the USA" when it clearly doesn't say that. You can check out the Dahon wiki as well, which makes no mention of them being made in the USA. @2:57
Good vid Pretty impressive deal of a bike For the breaks, I'd rather spend more and get the Launch D8. Then upgrade everything as the original parts wear out. Eventually upgrade: tires, saddle, derailleur/shifter, breaks/rotors over a few years of use. You would get a ton of riding in, and many upgrades of investment all before hitting the price of a Brompton. ( Also of note, you might be targeted for theft carrying/riding a posh Brompton around the bus, trolley, subway)

@@raffitchakmakjian Front badge on steering stem said made in USA in the video.

Is that park in Lakeland? Bonnet Springs? Been there few times. My buddy is selling me his Dugan D6 Boardwalk folding bike. Can’t wait to ride it.
@@rcristancho10 yes
if the frame is indeed more rigid, I can see myself making one into a folding bmx
My husband would have liked to see more pedaling. I'm not sure why, but he seems to feel it would give him a better idea of how good the bike is
If you raise the seat post when the bikes folded I'm sure its feasible to push the bike along without stooping.
dramatic music for riding a bike round a park
Epic music is dramatic. This is what they call corporate music. It just has a fun sound to it
Good vid

13:50 Can you put a different handle bar, tires on it? H bar?
Handle bar: Maybe, but then you may not be able to fold it.
Tires: yes, there are other tire sizes compatible with this bike.
To roll it when folded keep the seat up
Hello! Can I ask you what's you height ? coz bike looks bigger that i thought
@@alialmunguy316 I’m 6 ft.
@@GregBoswell428 Thanks for quick reply ! I'm 6,3 ft. Do you think I'll feel good on this bike ?
@ they claim it’s suitable for individuals up to 6.4 ft.
@@GregBoswell428 If the manufacturer is telling the truth, according to your height, seat tube should not be extended to the maximum .
In my contry the price is 170 dollars is normal ?
I don’t think so
It s only 180 $ in my country
