If you are going for a feeling, not an exact copy, as I am in my home, aspects of each tour are inspiring to take from. I appreciate you sharing these homes with us, thank you.
I couldn't agree more! The owner really is delightful, and the charm of the exterior is simply beautiful. Those views are just exceptional-what a fantastic home!
This home is stunning! I think you do a great job with hanging with the homeowners and letting them be themselves. I wonder if your love of beauty, art and design is blinding you from the fact that this is not at all a home that has design that is within reach for the average person. Yes you can grab a piece here and there and put it in your home but the focal point of a home like this is in fact the home itself which doesn't tend to bring a feeling of "yes I feel like this is relatable to me and my home" More of "that is a gorgeous home outside of my reach." It just seems like your home tours are getting more into the wealthy parts of the country instead of the everday person...so maybe this series is Design within reach for the wealthy?...Nothing wrong with wealth just a bit off putting to put homes like this in a series called that. Hope that makes sense. I loved the other homes that really did seem to be within reach that you've done.
Very true! It takes a lot of money to even by a home where this little castle is located in Berkeley with that view! This is for sure more gear to middle upper class two strong incomes help from the parents to buy the house and for rich people. Most of my "rich" friends that have beautiful houses like this one have had help from their families. It's nice but going back to your point all you can do watch it for ideas and inspiration for your own home! 🤩
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this, we really appreciate your feedback! We started this series as a spin-off of Open Door by AD, where they tour billionaire homes with limitless budgets. While this home is definitely more upscale compared to others we’ve featured, the homeowners still worked within a budget, and we believe there’s plenty of inspiration here for anyone, no matter their budget. That said, we totally understand where you’re coming from, and we’ll definitely keep this in mind for future tours. Our goal is to show a mix of homes that can feel within reach for different groups of people, and we’re trying to strike that balance to speak to a variety of tastes and income levels. I hope this makes sense! Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback, we truly appreciate it and will keep this in mind with future tours! 🤍
I definitely would have gone for inset cabinets throughout. The cabinet doors sitting over the top of the frame always looks cheap. Otherwise this is a beautiful home and they are blessed to be living there.
@@camuchanomellini903 Maybe add another million with that view and the size of the house. We have a view but not the Golden Gate Bridge view! The location is just gorgeous.
I think it’s great they let people express the selves and show the house like they want people to perceive it. I love sharing all about my home when people come over and ask and I can talk. People want to hear my story. It’s refreshing from interviews when the host hardly lets their guest answer. Also I think some of the questions are off camera and they just show more of the clips of them answering.
@krisanette84 is right, we cut most of the questions out and leave the answers to really let the owner shine, but if you’d like to hear more in depth and see how our questions guide the conversation you can check out the extended cut inside our membership! Thanks for watching 🙏🏼

Awh, thank you for this. So glad you’re inspired by our tours🤍🤍 it’s so fun to get a peak into different homes and draw inspiration for our own!!🤍
What an enchanting home. The beams are stunning!
Aren’t they?! They add so much character and warmth!!
color for children ignites creativity and imagination, I love the hints of it.
Yes! I loved the bookshelf in Brodie’s kitchen dedicated to her son - such a thoughtful way to design!
The owner is delightful, the exterior of the house is charming and the views are exceptional …!
We couldn’t agree more! So glad you enjoyed Brodie and her home🤍
What about the interior of the house??

I love wood! Just wondering how it will age…let’s remember the cherry wood…regardless it is a beautiful home!
Truly such a beautiful home! The beams add so much charm!🤍
Great video. I love your skirt, where is it from?
Really, interesting
Thank you!! It’s from Zara! A staple in my closet😌
Oh my❤❤❤
Our thoughts exactly!
Truly enchanting, but those high open windows and a little one in the home?? Please think about how unsafe that is
Sad that I didn't get a chance to see the house.. not a very professional interview.
I cannot believe you spent 3/4 of this design interview in her kitchen
There’s a part II up on our channel that you may have missed if you’d like to see more of Brodie’s home 🤍
This home is beautiful..:but this design is “not” within reach 😊
The average house price in Berkeley is $1.3 million. Plus the cost of reno.
@@MissMahaxo with that view is 1.5 million
@@camuchanomellini903 yep. Or more!

I have to agree with you. 😢
😊👍
🤍🤍
Beautiful but doesn’t really look like anyone lives there. Just looks staged for a photoshoot.
No matter your budget 🤔
Did she go to School to become a designer? or is she a designer at heart? All we sa was the kitchen ...
Part II is available now on our channel to see more of Brodie’s home! She is a self taught designer, and a mighty good one!😍
designedbyai AI fixes this. Interior Designer's Fairytale Home Tour
Would rather see more design with less talking. 🙏 I actually clicked off the video because of it.
Cool house. Needs some life.
You need to come up with some spontaneus and "depth" questions instead of letting the owner explaining all time.

Stunning home. But I would be terrified to have a child there with the no screen windows and the drop to the living room.
Toooooo much talking
Tired of the vocal fry and the upspeak at the end of every sentence. 😩
this is California
Yes’ is beautiful but too predictable and all of the same. For an interior designer I feel it lacks personality.
Jealous
@@babymoon5282 How rude!
@chiza42 Agreed.
Does not feel collected or tells a story. Looks like everything was bought at a big box store for a photo shoot for a home decor catalog.
@@babymoon5282 Not really she is right! from a designer's point of view it is true.
Underwhelming
