Monkwehs son receives m birthday money from his uncle 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 and Monkweh ….. Follow Instagram and tiktok @monzz.ent And don’t forget to subscribe !!!! As you can see
giving your father your birthday money in an african househould is like investing in sillicon valley banks or leting that hood guy see your bike 🤣🤣 it's neva coming back
As an African this used to piss me off soooo much!! And even worse, our parents never admit they're wrong too which is unhealthy for the relationship. Basically my dad still owes me £100 init. Don't care if he used it to buy me food which I didn't ask for. 😂
Not gonna lie I was vexed whenever mum would take money someone gave me. But now? I would empty an account for the queen. The sacrifices of our parents no amount can repay
Not gonna lie. When my dad pulled these 'death' and 'kicked out' cards I used to curl as a kid. But obviously when you grow up, you become wiser and braver. Hasn't happened for a while but the last time it did happen, I did this. I was cooking and we had this same argument. Then I made the same not asking to be born comments. Take note that in asian families, people are very speculative and judgemental and word travels very fast. So the old man pulls out the 'death' card while gesturing to me. I flipped the knife around and put it in his hand. "Do it then dad. Do it, and live with your own flesh's blood on your hands. Face the police with your hands stained. Face my younger sisters (I'm the only boy and I'm the eldest. My sisters adore me and my dad has a bloody big soft spot for them) and see them knowing that they are aware of what you did to the brother they loved and depended on. Face yourself with the fact that you killed the only person who carries YOUR father's face (Im a spitting image of grandad. Dad was devastated to severe depression when he died.) and know that you ended your lineage with your own hand. Look your wife in the eye with the knowledge that you killed the apple of her eye (in British terms, that means favorite child.) Stand in front of our relatives,my uncle who I help in his MOT, my aunt's who I babysit their kids for, my grandpa (my mom's dad) who I watch football with with the knowledge that you killed a member of their own family. One who makes a promise should be prepared to act on it. So go ahead." I kid you not, he was shocked and shaking. It was a very quiet month for a bit. Another time he pulled out the 'kick you out card'. Bear in mind I'm still not eighteen yet. So I say "Okay dad. I'll leave. And the first thing I'll do is walk over to the bridge, and throw myself on the train tracks. (If the fall didn't kill me, the consistent passing trains would) When the authorities make an investigation, they will sniff all of this out. And they will realize it was your abuse that pushed me to that decision. And you will live with that guilt until death. And that same guilt will be the same reason why no one will be at your bedside when death comes for you. Are you ready?" Again he was shocked. I was about twelve when these things happened. So I was at an age where he wasn't sure if I was pulling his bluff or I was genuine in my words. Take note I had really bad self esteem issues back then too. Our relationship is good now. He never really was an abusive father, and we are really close. I just really grew fed up with these cliches, typical immigrant families not realizing that in a different environment than back home, the weight of their words might have a devastating effect. Can't guarantee it will work with every parent, but mine certainly respected me a lot more after that.
I know my parents have used the money for me and the family for our needs which I've received from others but ngl i wonder how much money I would have now if the safe place was actually safe. 🤣
I never understand why parents try to claim credit for doing basic parental shit. If you don't want to pay for children, use contraception. It's not rocket science. Don't have children and then guilt trip them for being alive.
Man as a white guy raised in a Forster family with Nigerian Forster parents my white friends never believed me but my minority friends knew I was telling the truth but hey I ain’t complaining the food was Peng jalof rice with goat curry 🍛 if you know you know
