The fact you said that is cringe. It also shows you clearly don't pay attention to country music and only go off what's on the radio. It's like people who say "let's make rock great again." Or this band or that artist is reviving rock.
No, you have to look deep and find things you like it. You will b going through bands, artists, songs, and albums. You may like one song or multiple, you make like one album or multiple, you might become a fan. You might find stuff in genres you particularly listen to. I have.
Deep diving music is something I love doing and I'm probably not even scratching the surface.

So no it’s not cringe, just cringe you copy and paste the same thing from person to person. (Also imo I think it’s better than other modern country).
If you like this guy, check out the new guy on the scene called Zach Top. He keeps it country too. Saw him live a couple of weeks ago. Zach not only sings great but he can pick a Telecaster with the best of them.
