Yes to open. You don't expect fall application to open now when you will start studies in September next year. You have to wait for February or March next year for fall intake.

Every scholarship or admission to any university will require the same things gks is requesting. Having level 4 topik is good but start working on your essays precisely your motivations for wanting to study in Korea. Japanese proficiency will be ok for a japanese scholarship or admission into university but not required in Korea. You can just tactfully mention it in your essays but not necessary.

Did you check the application guideline to see if you need a recommendation letter? I'm not sure but if the guideline document says so then you have to. You can submit anything that you think can help you but make sure your motivations for wanting to do any particular major is strong. Extra curricular activities are also important, awards are also important submit any you have let them take what they might think is important for admission. A good preparing starts with you going through the application guideline. Unfortunately I go through many application guideline documents I can't remember everything I read on every scholarship. You go get the past guidelines and read to get yourself ready for next application round.

You should probably check other videos I have ok Sungkyunkwan University and watch. Since you didn't get the point on how not to provide a bank statement you have to go with the option of providing it because I can't explain that through text.
Also, you mentioned that those who have korean proficiency score will have high chance. I agree to this. But those applying to emglish track can get the scholarship ? If not full atleast partial ? Not only samsung global, the other scholarship
Do not get discouraged to apply because of Korean proficiency, maybe all applicants might not even have any Korean language certificate. Focus on other things that can make your application stand out if you don't have Korean language proficiency test score.

Samsung scholarship is available in about 10 or more universities in Korea. For English proficiency you have to first figure out which universities are in partnership with Samsung scholarship and then go to their website and look at their English proficiency requirements. Some might want only standardized tests while others might accept English proficiency documents from your university that says English is the medium of instructions. So use the internet to find out your intended university requirements for English proficiency.

Who said so? Go ahead and apply with your siblings. You can send someone to go do it for you but it's always better to go by yourself because those are your documents in case they have any worries about your documents you can better answer to the worries.

If let's say 10 students apply and they all have almost same academic profile in terms of grades and essays, they will then see who submitted a Korean language proficiency test score, if out of the 10 students for example 5 have topik they will take them first. So having something more like topik score because you are going to a country that uses Korean gives you an advantage in not just this scholarship but most Korean scholarships. Awards, work experience and other things are also of advantage but Korean language is the first thing that they check to avoid a tie. Am I making any sense?
That information is on the application guideline document. You should look for the application guideline. It's between 6m and 11m won depending on your major.

I can't promise if there's any scholarship for any student. A scholarship is like a lottery for some students to obtain it especially if you don't have some very much recognizable abilities and if you had a good academic record without distortions it does helps. My advice the person should try his or her luck one can never tell what will happen.

As long as you have a document from your school that shows your studies were in English it is fine. Please check out SUNGKYUNKWAN UNIVERSITY application guideline for spring 2024 it is clearly written there on the section on language requirements.
You will need topik to do a bachelor degree in Korea because Korea is not an English country. It's only at masters and PhD that you have many universities with English major. I'm not going to promise you something that will be difficult. To stand a chance start learning Korean or apply for Masters after your bachelor. Or just keep trying to get a language school first or try GKS.
Okay compared to gks, this is quite tricky to understand. I have a doubt, first is, for the initial admission, If I have less than 3.7 gpa, they will only fund partial scholarship right ? And then after enrolling and if i score good grades thats required, then they fund full scholarship
Like I also said on my video very few students will loose their scholarship in Korea, focus more on getting to Korea first before you can worry about loosing or not loosing your scholarship.

@keepinitsimple5518 if you don't have the required grades you will get a scholarship that is not fully funded. In that case you will need proof of funds to get a visa to show you have enough money to sponsor your studies. After first semester in Korea if your grades are good you might get a scholarship but that will be 100% that means you don't have to pay tuition. But not that this is no longer Samsung scholarship, you will have to work more harder each semester to try not to pay tuition or pay just a small amount.
They only cancel it if you get 2 scholarships and want to benefit from both. If you succeed in both you choose one and follow the process for visa to the end.

You go to the nearest country with a Korean embassy. Before going you can call them to find out first before going.
Do they require a specific GPA score? To apply for it I have to get 80% in high school as well as the GKS requirement. Or no GPA required?
