Great game by the Filipinas against a higher ranked opponent who were probably stumped at how stiff of an opposition they got. These exposures to the European style of play will prove to be very invaluable in the future for our young Filipinas.
Napanood ko yan kagabi...ang ganda ng laban...it took 87 min for sweden to score and we almost equalize...the defense is good...the goalkeeper is impressive...
Good to see Filipino football developing and also surprised at how physical the Pinays are. Sweden is known for producing tall, strong players and the Filipino girls weren't outmuscled. So I was wondering if, like the women's national team, they are mostly Fil-Ams or from, mostly, outside The Philippines?
