Because these trend streamers aren't stalker veterans, but tourists. They just jump on the game which is curently popular and get their main attention by performing hilarious reactions and screaming. The funniest ones are beginners who haven't played previous stalkers and have no idea why what's happening is happening. For example, the lady who is in shock when a canister rises from the ground and hits her in the head. And they even put it on the internet :D...
The stalker tutorial is not very good, you literally ran into a Poltergeist and blood sucker right into the game. The blood sucker is kind of stright forward a monster that is trying to kill you but the poltergeist is something only the veterans know. So many new players got confused by that polter.
True, I ALT F4 the game 2 times during intro. Like you wrote, for new players intro isnt the best catcher. After 20+ hours in game i can say, stalker 2 is great art.
The whole idea in the tutorial is to say "Hey, this game is brutal, heres an example of what you are in for" NOT "Hey, this game is easy, let me just hold your hand and teach you how to move using WASD and look using your mouse!"
@@Smithy779 Exactly. And you can RTFM, aka the database in the PDA which has a wiki with all the mutant encounters and so on. The original stalker games did not even really have a tutorial other than explaining controls and avoiding anomalies.
@@hyperturbotechnomike Exactly, just dont explain the damage models to them, stalker 2 is beyond forgiving. Back in the day a headshot would put you on the floor just as fast as the guy you are shooting at 🤣
I had a crazy moment when I was hauling 70KGs of weapons when an anomaly storm hit. I had to drop like 10 guns on the ground in the middle of no where and run like hell and wade through a bunch of water to get back to base. I was like 300M's out it was pretty comical.
It has bugs, but these are the kind of funny Berhesda bugs from 10 years that made you spit out whatever while playing and not " game breaking". Surely it will be patched out :) And yes, iam playing with mods that get the balancing a bit more in favor to my rage cycle, those mutants in vanilla are tanks :) Deathcounter is at 130, but most of them are " funny deaths"...
i have yet to play stalker 2, but i loved call of pripyat and anomaly couple years back. Only question that stands for me is: why the heck is everyone playing on english voice cast 😮
It makes the story easier to follow. I started playing the game with Ukranian voices but having to read everything while there are plenty of other things going on, makes it difficult to follow sometimes. So I made the switch to English. Yes it sounds weird cus' why's everyone Bri'ish?! But atleast I can enjoy the story better :)
Wait a couple years before you play this half assed game. Everything in the game is broken from balance, economy, stealth, AI behavior, tons of bugs, area tied bugs, unfair balancing, insane repair costs, enemies spawning behind your back, saves being lost, memory leaks, crashes, texture flickering, and much much more! I am 55 hours in and I will not be playing that bullshit again till they fix it. Even with mods it's a struggle to enjoy because literally half of the things a Stalker game is known for isn't working correctly. It feels like a game released in 2013 with rushed development and developers only from pakistan and nepal
CohhCarnage must be the unluckiest man alive xD I have not met a single Chimera except the ones you're supposed to meet cause of side quests or the story. I have a 100h
The game feels like a half assed 2013 survival game. Pure disappointment, even with mods. Those Ukrainian clowns literally released a broken game with same bugs from older Stalker games.
Yeah I was kind of worried from always hearing stuff about the old games and seeing screenshots that the game was scary, but it's really not. It has horror elements but it's an action game first and foremost. It's never actively to jump scare you. The atmosphere is top notch though. It definitely is unnerving hopping into a bloodsucker nest or a snork cave, but never scary. Especially when you come adequately prepared with good weapons and armor
0:26 The way he tried to cover up his leaking is absolutely hilarious.
And then looking at the camera behind his mask as if he got caught.. Oh boy, I can't! 😂😂😂
Had the same on wild island shelter.
😂
most of these people were not ready for stalker
Lol its wild seeing those death counter being super high despite still early game
