DeepL is a German creation. It's really great quality when compared to other automatic translators. I hope you're loving living in Portugal! It's so wonderful that you're learning the language of the country you are currently living in, I'm sure that enriches the whole experience! Beijinhos
DeepL is indeed great!! Have been using ever since it came out in 2017 to translate stuff to German and I don't regret it! I remember my calling came when google translated "Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz" into "Beef". That was the wtf moment for me :)
@@samdumaquis2033I personally would translate it as "Law of the assignment of monitoring tasks of the labelling of beef." It is a composite word... You use them all the time in german. For me it's easier to understand them if you break it down into separate words starting from the last and going backwards (meaning it's a very rough and literal translation, but conveys the meaning of it)... But yeah, it's an actual law or regulation that used to be in place - apparently the proper translation would be "Beef Labeling Supervision Duties Delegation Law"
You should spend a few days or weeks in Brazil to learn the most widely spoken and written Portuguese language. São Paulo, Porto Alegre, Florianópolis or elsewhere. Then you will discover that "European Portuguese" is a kind of Spanish spoken by Russians.
If you had intellect, friend, you would actually put 1 + 1 together and realize that the “Spanish spoken by Russians” you’re referring to is what Brazilian Portuguese comes from. 🤦♀️ Aye people really lack common sense these days. You play too many video games, son.

I like Deepl, it works better than other translators for the languages I use. 😊
I'm from Brazil, and I love the Portugal Portuguese. It is so beautiful. ❤
Maybe you missed the latest info that google translate is already available for both, european and brazilian portuguese.
I never heard that someone calls it deep L 😂😂
Duolingo is bad
I don't agree that it's bad - as it is pretty harmless, but it is not very effective
