Persona 2 just tells me that that was when Personas were most like Stands. They could be in the real world and were summoned straight from their bodies with no gimmicks like guns, cards, or masks.

To be fair, it was not in usual circumstances. In Persona 1, we had DEVA system and the SPOILER. In Persona 2, they summoned a persona in a city where rumours are coming true.

As someone who's seen all of JoJo but never touched Persona, I finally understand what those "non-JoJo fan reacts to all JoJo openings" reaction TH-camrs must've felt like.

Well they’re ported to everything now so have at them, they’re especially easy to get your hands on if you have gamepass
I’ll say this, if your intrested, I’d say start with persona 5, it’s an amazing entry point and the story of the previous games has little to no effect on the story of persona 5, the only things consistent from my experience as someone who started with 5, just beat 4 and is starting 3, the only things in every game are general themes, always banger tunes, reoccurring Demons/personas, and Igor/the velvet room, none of that is spoilers btw, that’s stuff you experience in the first hour or 2 of any of the games
Best of luck to you if you do spend any time with this series, I fell in love with it almost a year ago now, just take your time with it, and be prepared to be in it for the long haul
Persona 5 has a highschooler who tries to save a woman from the president (or soon to be) of japan only to end up in trouble, basically abandoned by his family and sent off to live in a coffee shop where he finds a talking cat in the metaverse and starts going around steal people’s hearts with the friends he makes a long the way.

The original persona 4 with Chase is the best
Sono Chi No Sadame within the context of persona 1 feels like the lyrics that was once about Jonathan and Dio's duality becomes about the duality within oneself.
Vanilla P4 with Chase and Strikers/Scramble with Fighting Gold goes hard and blends together surprisingly well.
Out all the jojo parts and out of all the persona games, jojo part 4 and p4 have the most similarities. A group of teenagers with supernatural abilities try and find a serial killer who is seemingly normal and also only kills women.

While I love the persona series to pieces, after finally getting caught up on JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, I can't un-see the parallels.
I was like "why'd they make the vanilla p5 intro the 2nd intro of part 5, I'd have loved to see that one on the p5r one" and then I was proven WRONG FIGHTING GOLD FITS PERFECTLY ON P5S, both immaculate choices, no notes! Also, I haven't seen these in a bit, I ADORE how they break the color scheme in the P5S intro!
