Are you dogshit at EU4? Good news, you can watch my Byzantium video next th-cam.com/video/2jNdhIkZrw8/w-d-xo.html and be less trash at the game as consequence :D
if you do the Ethiopean mission you can get access to Cawa units as your tier 5 reform. For 4 mil points you get 1000 troops or if you disband them instantly refill your manpower.
I just play as the Mamluks right now - and did it completely different. I built up my economy peacefully and diplo-vassalised and annexed most of the smaller arabian tribes. Only had one big war against Iberia and multiple wars against the Ottomans - otherwise playing peacefully trying to get the export grain archievement :D
Mamlums actually used to start with 3 stacks of 10-15k armies. So it is in fact a nerf but other things such as the special unit kind of balances it out.
You know the crazy thing is i dont even own the game i genuinely love seeying your game play and how you narrate each game as a new time line and history of a country so thank you for the good content
11:01 it also makes it way harder for non Ottoman players to defeat the Mamuluks. The common strategy was taking a province to release Syria out of but with Syria free at the start this makes this difficult. You have to either wait for them to integrate (which can take until like 1470) or Find a different strategy to defeat them.
Try ZoroAustrian - in my run when I switched to Persia the HRE got disbanded (I was emperor) so you can “disband” quite early by snaking to the Persian lands.
bro, you should legit create / sponsor your own brand of schnapps. it's not that great of an alcohol, but if you find a niche flavor (like a coffee flavor) you just might have something
Find something interesting: you see this amazing mission which let you build the Suez Canal for free at something like 1448? Well, you can cancel the project, which will give you a refund of the initial cost, namely 20 000 ducats. At around something like 1448. At this point, you can just hire 10 mercenary companies to conquer everything around you, build mosques/marketplaces/manufactories everythere and colonize over colonist limit (can we also speak of the fact that the mission tree let you get an explorer from the get go and that, if you manage to get 30 mercantilism, you get 1 colonist from the burghers + explorers without exploration with another burghers privilege, letting you effectively explore and colonize without any idea group and far ahead any other colonizer). Oh and by the way, when you’re around 1500 and basically own half of the world, you can still invest 20 000 ducats and get the canal well before adm tech 23.
I quite like using monopolies since the latest patches. Getting 30 mercantilism that way is pretty neat. Overall now with more than 4 privileges and the latest new ones it feels like there is not only 'one' right setup you have to do for each tag.
@20:38 but Ludi! 7% isn't even close to three ticks on 71%, so really you were several hundred days away from actually taking Ankara :DDDD *bad siege rng intensifies*
I loved your content and your historical fact you put on your video some times to time, but there's one thing that bothers me is why you have to lie on this title, I mean is that really necessary, you have one if not the biggest eu4 community, you don't need to do that. Just say what you did, not what you're going to do, and your recent byzantine campaign did exactly that. It's sad but keep going and maybe be a liitle bit more honest on your future title at least, Love U
I always get rebels. I mean ALOT of rebels. I havent played the game for like 2 years. Started up again awhile back and im still playing with 1.34. However ive noticed in these 2 years some weird shit has been going on. For one rebels. I mean they were far, far exaggerated before. Now its absolutely insane. I did a WC atempt by Austria. went fairly well but rebels stopped me. I killed in total 465 million rebels. FOURHUNDREDANDSIXTYFIVEMILLION. This was like i said for a WC and i ran humanist, religious ideas i was at -8 unrest. and they just kept poppin. Constant swarms of rebels for a reason i have yet to understand. Rebels then proceeded to F*** my commonwealth wc atempt and my timurids one. So now im pissed playing colgone to westphalia to germany. Cause i CBA with more genocide this week.
Mamluks? More like Mamlucks in the latest DLC, lol. I don't think I have ever seen a nation in EU4 get so many free permanent claims so fast, and Austria getting Personal Unions is actually slower for WC runs because you still need to wait for the 50 years to be up, and then actually wait to integrate, and with the Mamluks it's all about playing the Vassal game really well early on.
Shift to Turkish ASAP Form Egypt through mission Westernize military Form Rûm Enjoy being a Western Ottomans with a much cooler color, a much cooler flag and name, and no decadence
Hey, Ludi can I ask for a new 1.36 guide for Poland? There have been some changes and im ultra confused how to become a big red blob... love ur vids and stay safe emperor! (Also I watched "Napoleon" today and its well... decent).
Salah al din is not Kurdish he is Arab even they asked him he said that he is arab and his family came from yemen but he was born in Kurdish area in tikrit Iraq
Do an Austria playthrough, but you have to fully annex in every war. If you can't annex to 100% in every war. So, for example, if you can't fully annex the Ottomans, you must 100% the Ottomans and annex as much as you can.
Are you dogshit at EU4? Good news, you can watch my Byzantium video next th-cam.com/video/2jNdhIkZrw8/w-d-xo.html and be less trash at the game as consequence :D

Do Anbennar mod grand campaign please!
Love your videos!💚
Just wanted to say that I and many others appreciate and love what you do, keep up the good work. From a long time fan.
I appreciate that! Means a lot bro thank you!

One cool thing when starting as Mamluks is that you could ally and vasalize Dwasir which gives scholar with -10% AE
Buf after you annex dawasir. You could not take hanbali anymore
Just take the religious estate privilege that allows you to invite a Scholar without the opinion requirement.
@@DylanSargessonbut in that way you waste one priv slot 🙃
@@DrNoobCinema So you'll keep Dawasir as a vassal the whole time and waste a Diplo Relationship slot instead?
Would love to see the formation of Andalusia as Ibadi Mzab, showing us how to get the “Unlikely candidate “ achievement
This is a good campaign idea for me
into third way also
Great video! And HELL YES to the Najd run

15:58 I would Diplo-vassalize Dawasir so you can get their -10% Agressive Expansion Scholar
10:06 A good tip. Of course your subjects really hope their leader developing their provinces.
Always down to watch a new Mamluk video and learn a new strat!
Guarantees seem to simply not work any more this update when the AI declares on AI
Yo it's about time we got a content full Mamluks!
Baby where is my bag?!?!
I just did a tall Mamluks after eating the Ottos. Left AQ and Tunis as buffers, and stayed bffs with Austria - even we they lost the religious war.
Great video! Love it! Oh wait, where is my wallet?????

I was exactly the same, heard about the game from his channel. 2700 hours later 🙃
Good job it's black Friday. I bought extra wallets

Syria blocks you from taking Dulkadir second or first if you don’t take Byz before Ottomans and blocking their mission tree.

mamluk claims looks like reverse ottoman claims
I'm only getting claims on half of Anatolia from the Northern Territories mission, am I doing something wrong?
Khalifat Ludi AlMuntasir Billah... 😌😳😂
Need a guide for Byzantium, WITHOUT DLC.

What kind of masochist would play without dlc anyway? If you're worried about the price, just wait for a humblebundle deal.
