- Welcome back. It's about 5 weeks post-crash (3 post-surgery) and recovery from a broken shoulder is going well thanks to the new idea of "RAD Life": Regimen, Attitude, Diet. These are the three controllables in an uncontrollable situation. By following the protocol, you too can live a RAD life ~shaka~shaka~shaka~

The quality of your life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% on how you choose to respond.
I PREACH that 90/10 Principle
Dear Miguel & Jenna! It's my 1st comment, but I have been watching your channel since I got involved with Triathlon. I have always enjoyed watching your show. I'm writing, because I feel your coverage of your injury and your struggles along with your resolve is super inspirational. Having been injured and being sidelined when goals are so close you can almost touch the podium is incredibly frustrating... I know many other triathletes can relate to that feeling, and we are all watching and grateful for your authentic document of your journey. I am rooting for you. Keep it up Miguel, you're making a positive impact on our community!
You are practical and resilient. I like your honesty and focus on the things you can do well today. You both are good humans!
Have you considered an episode on gym workouts involving your stabilizers? Strengthening all the small muscles whilst you're waiting for healing time.
Hope you are recovering well Miguel, and thanks for the insight. It's so cool you guys get sponsored by Ryzon, I love their clothes!
LOVE THIS! Request for RAD Life merch here.
Hey, dude! Nice to see u are getting better!!! One question: are u moving ur elbow daily? I am not a doctor, but be careful with elbow mobility. Once it is gone, it is hard to come back
Can we get some RAD Life hoodies? ☺️
Great tips. I will be having foot surgery in two weeks. So this is good for me to prepare mentally for my recovery and accept that I will not be able to train for several weeks.
Thanks for the video, i had the same injury then you just a bit worse as i had all rips broken and o hole in the Lungs and after now 9 month, i still have a frozen shoulder and CRPS. Mentally i’m at a all time low now and i can understand very well how you feel! All the best for your recovery ❤
Great video.
Haha I’m the story you mentioned. Had a bike crash, broke wrist and got a cast. A month after the cast was done, I broke the wrist on an easy hike and needed surgery 😂 easing into training yet again.
Mickey, no shize! No SLEEP means diminished effort in training. The most and only thing you need to "CONTROL" is your "Belief" in your Self! If you do this, then everything will fall into place!!!!!! Dingus!! GG! Get-er-done Mickey!!!!!!! PLAN TO BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!!!!! GG! Dang Mickey, never pegged youas a synic! Since you always potray a happy go lucky non caring "working triathlete"!! So what your now admitting in this vid, means all previous vids having been psuedo in Nature? Share Mickey Please! If you have the "COURAGE" to do so? GG!
I hope the best from Greece... one question... what happened to your old awesome bikes... Did you sell them. Cause I'm interested...
Miguel! EAT ANIMALS!!! talk more about your diet and psychological aspects of recovery. good stuff kids!
Thanks for the insight Miguel this was very cool! What types of jammy bands are you walking to?!
The Dead are my absolute long-time go-to. But I've been super into Eggy and Orebolo (for my acoustic cravings) lately. check them out!
@@FreestyleTri Orebolo acoooustic Gooose! I’ll def check out Eggy thanks man! Get better soon!
can you talk more about the eigth sleep mattres? is it worth the money? thanks!!
You can see how much you won’t let God in your life. RAD life? GOD life!
You have an amazing opportunity.
