It's litteraly first seed from EU. And the worst part is they beat VIT, G2 and BDS which means it was a well deserved first place.

T1 are arguably NOT even the best team in LCK. MAD are undisputed #1 (in the EU anyways) Just goes to show how piss weak the Western teams continue to be.

knew this would happen after watching both LCK and LEC last few months. The play styles, macros were just so diff. Big gap between the regions.
Welp, GG vs R7 was the most one sided series until MAD stepped up to the plate. This was an absolute slaughter.

As an NA Fan, I cheer for all the western teams but I also acknowledge all 4 teams are outclassed by LPL and LCK. Oh well, at least local games are entertaining.
I stopped caring for NA teams since Faker won b2b Worlds. Best decision I ever made, he got slept on and he's still the best player in the game with perhaps the most dominate team he's ever been on.
It's fine if they cheer for other region, it applies to everybody, but, in the case of some NA fans who support the LCK, they then act and talk like they were Koreans and not even nice ones, they like to discriminate while thinking they're Koreans themselves, not only NA LCK fans, even LCK fans from other regions, too, always mentioning nationality, which makes their attitude ridiculous.

Same big difference but t1 knew how to win and mad didn't know how to win.The same burst baron decision was made under favorable circumstances, but the ending of the two teams was completely opposite.Basically, the gap between the two teams was too big than I thought. As a lck fan, I enjoy this situation, but I think the eu fans will fall into despair.

@@aracuscesar LCK and LPL basically spend 12-15 hours a day practicing.Of course, I am not ignoring the efforts of the coaches NA and EU players.Their efforts to be on this international stage are commendable and they worked really hard.But I'd like to ask again. Did lec and lcs really go to great lengths to be competitive in international competitions? Of course, there are differences in individual skills and talents, but t1's play was made through a lot of effort and time.

Exactly this. It's not like LEC/LCS 1st seed was a match to LCK/LPL top 4 or 5. Seriously did we really think MAD or G2 or C9 or GG was ever gonna win against KT? Or DRX? Maybe they'll have a competitive match against 6th or 7th place, though I am still gonna put my bet on LCK over any NA or EU teams. I mean, not saying NA/EU has a 100% chance, but it'll be close.

My biggest question about that was why didn't any of the teams go for perfect games, giving the girls no kills, turrets, or objectives? The quick win is impressive, but I figured at least 1 team would have gone for perfection!

Bad lions were so bad. And the fact they won the LEC. Thats saying something about the level of the LEC. They are preysing Nisqy what high level he is playing, but in matter affect, the LEC is just bad. Yes T1 is good but mad showed nothing on the stage.
This is why Mad need to get out my LEC. All they know how to do is hyper focus the other LEC teams to squeak out a split, then they embarrass themselves against literally anyone else from a different region. where a team like G2 or Fnatic(if they ever realize they lose because they have rekkles wise up and can him for good) can actually go the distance.
Faker can bleed and has been losing for years. He couldn't even win with Khan. He's in excellent form now and its teams like Mad that only know how to snipe their friends and call it victory that remove contention from his path once he breaks free from LCK split.
The only member on Mad with any credibility right now is Hylli. And just like how Mikyx FINALLY got an excellent ADC in Hans, Hylli will hopefully get a roster that is worthy of his brilliance.
Prediction: G2 crawls back from lower bracket and faces T1 in final. Unless im an actual rube and the lower bracket can't get to final. If so then im glad Faker, my LCK legend and the only non LEC rep I root for is absolutely dominating this MSI.
And in the end, at least perks is still in the dirt.
It's his arrogance that loses him his otherwise rightful spot in these tourneys, not his team.

In high school you have your superstars, they are the best on the team and that's no question and never changes. So play to them and their strengths to get your win condition.
In college you have every superstar from every hight school on one team. They are all superstars. All the time.
So then its not about being the best and winning because of it.
Being the best has now become identifying who is popping off and playing to them and their strengths. No matter what.
This. Is why faker is winning. Because he understands this. And executes flawlessly.
