Those are the same thoughts I was having it’s just not the camera for me too much processing and post work love your reviews. Thank you.

That is crazy all the reviews not one of them did mention that thermal guard, I almost bought into the hype. I would’ve returned it for sure if I would’ve bought it for the same reasons that you mentioned thank you.,

I had no issues in 8k/30 riding my bicycle in 70F sunny weather. Had 45 minutes without overheating. Left over battery too. Was using the metal cage. It is noisy in lowlight. ISO MAX800 is still pretty bad for noise.

riding a bike would be a good use case for this camera. 70 degrees is still relatively cool and if you are riding a bike a nice breeze flowing past the camera. When it gets 90+ I'm betting it will overheat.

    Did you export ProRes 422?

no I used H.265 which was touted in early "reviews". I'm not interested in the huge Pro Res files. Also the export process should't be so complicated

I think you experience what many "regular" folk encounter. I have the X3 and I can get OK footage out of it but it 1) doesn't come close to my 4k cameras and 2) certainly doesn't look like the dozens of influencer videos. I'm scouring the tube looking for folks like you that shoot, run it through Studio or the mobile app, and see what they get. I wouldn't say your footage was garbage but it's not crisp like almost everything else we're all seeing. I want 360 to be viable for so many reasons and it's getting there but I fear my experience is going to be just like yours. Speaking of which, I was watching one of the OG's in the space and you're right. His last step was to run it through a $300 Video AI program to smooth it out! I tried that software and I could see a minor difference but nothing close to making it a sparkling gem. I appreciate you showing your efforts and your comments.

I think topaz AI is getting some serious work
