Dude just forgot that Gio smashed Kimi out the park in qualifying and has been sabotaged and put on worse strategies for 3 years straight to benefit Kimi. Mexico was the clearest example of the team sabotaging him. You lack any knowledge on him. Kimi is still an amazing driver with Gio being faster than him.

All the races he did without that the team was able to impose a strategy (for SC or other reasons) Giovinazzi got points. A case? Not at all. Vasseur sacrified him sistematically put on him wingman strategies. Wasn't not even a case Gio started to go faster (inside the top 10 even in races) when Kimi got the covid.
Kimi was behind 88% of the races in Ferrari because he was not the first driver. Even at 40 years of age you can still be fast, as proven by Alonso. There are a lot of reason why Giovinazzi F1 career can seem underwhelming, but they all crumble when throughly analyzed. As an example, in this season alone without any pitstop or strategy errors Giovinazzi would have had AT LEAST 20 to 30 points.
That Alfa was a terrible car this year. Alfa had some horrible strategy calls for Gio too. Like truly terrible. Although you made some valid points. You didn't give a balanced view in my opinion.

Coming back from 2023/end of 2022 season. Alfa(Sauber) was correct to swap Gio out with Zhou. Zhou also suffered the typical bad Sauber pit stop and bad strategy. On paper Zhou has less points than Gio. But Zhou showed he can be faster than Bottas in Quali&Race. Strong synergy with Bottas on track&off track. Didn't made own mistakes to crash the car. Still, I do wish Gio success in WEC. He is Italian with a super license. Ferrari will definitely keep him. Just give him a suitable place with a good car. He can show what he got.
Gio is a great guy based on what I saw, but sadly that doesn't make you go fast. He's at best only at around Latifi's level, and we all know what that means even if you have massive financial backings.
