Cool! I wish my parents were siren enthusiasts. They're nice enough to listen politely and occasionally drive me to siren tests if I beg and plead excessively, but not like that. Hopefully my husband will be a siren enthusiast (I'm a girl, just to prevent any confusion, and he probably will be) and then maybe our kids will be influenced by us and be siren enthusiasts as well! It'll be a whole siren-loving family!
There is a tie down strap laying nearby. You can see us go look at it around 1:11. It was sucking up and down due to the dampers closing and opening but not to bad. There is more room there than what it looks like.
There's more room for the bottom intake on the trailer than there is under the top hat over the top intake. The dampers aren't designed to close or slam shut 100%, if they do, the solenoids don't seat properly and burn up (anyone that tells you otherwise hasn't read the manual and don't know what they are doing and shouldn't have one). These aren't like Thunderbolt 1003s that block the sound output and completely stop the sound.
Tyler shaw I'm digging the patriotic design of the siren and I would so buy that from you if possible and also how much do one of those go for and sorry if I'm not being to technical about the siren I'm learning about all the different types of sirens so yea thanks again for posting this video
The 3T22 belongs to Tyler. We own the Thunderbolt. We have this 1003 and and a T-bolt 1000T. Also have a 2T22, a really old sterling M-10 and a Federal speaker siren. This 1003 was purchased from a fellow siren enthusiast in the Dallas area. $500. We took it to Okla. siren meet to place on Tyler's blower to see how it really sounds. Look at our page, KDKsiren and also do a search for Dillon Carpenter to see other great vids as well as Tyler Shaw.
God I love the camera quality, I know its an old video but I love cmeras with this quality and audio quality. Sure makes it feel like a classic!
So are you guys like father-son siren enthusiasts? P.S. I love the HiLo pattern!

Not stuck but look close to the bottom it is only a few inches above the trailer floor so the bottom intake is not getting a lot of air
