The answer to that question is most likely 'Yes'.😅 On a solo hike once, I sat down on some rocks to have some lunch. When I got that feeling I was being watched I turned around and there on a rock next to me was a big, beautiful, curious marmot. While I didn't share my lunch, I did get a cute picture. Nature is a wonder and a gift.

They are so so cute but we have had major damage from them here in Indiana and have had to trap them and relocate
We ended up having to do the same there! Fun for a minute but then a big stinky mess! ha
