In the past few weeks I’ve been drawn to finally studying Marseille and this video solidified the decision. I find that putting in effort to craft specific questions is as important as, if not more than, interpreting the cards. It sounds like this mentality is helpful in reading Marseille so I feel excited to explore this (new to me) system. Thank you for sharing a glimpse into your Marseille thought process.

Thank you, Anna. I really enjoy learning from you. I really appreciate what you said about adding knowledge and not removing it. Also, as someone still at the beginning of their Tarot studies and wanting to study RWS, Marseille and Thoth at the same time, it really helps to be reminded that you're never finished and there is always more to learn and dive into. That is also what I find fascinating.

OMG I started just like you! Wanting to learn everything at the same time, including gypsy decks. But it got all so confusing in my head. I focused on RWS but noticed that some of the meanings just don't sit well with me. So I am not instinctively gravitating toward TdM, I love the orderliness of the numbers and they feel natural to me (more than the astrological orderliness of RWS).
But I am curious: how is your all-at-once study going? Are you managing?

wonderful video. i read pips almost exclusively and have read jodorowsky. basically, i love the marseille style decks i have (noir and pitisci), but read them no differently than i read any other pip and i tend to use an open spread (mostly). at any rate, i've truly enjoyed reading/watching your video (as usual) 💙

Hele interessante video Anna! Ik heb zelf nog nooit met de Marseille gewerkt maar het is wel iets wat ik al van plan was, nu ben ik nog enthousiaster! Ik ga naar verschillende decks kijken om er een te vinden die bij me past 😊

Nou... Ik overweeg Le tarot noir en vind de Playing Marseille ook mooi, maar die gebruikt de kleuren van het “gewone” kaartspel en die symbolen zijn niet zo beweeglijk 🤔
@@rote_universe Allebei zo leuk! Inderdaad, de Playing Marseille zou misschien ook gelezen kunnen worden als speelkaarten vanwege die pips. Le Tarot Noir heeft heel cool artwork..

Het boek had ik al ( er is helaas geen Nederlandse vertaling uitgegeven) en ik heb natuurlijk jou Camoin hahaha.
Maar gebruik ook het liefste mijn trionfi della luna.
Op deze manier lijkt het ineens veel duidelijker om de kaarten te lezen..

This isi the Trionfi della luna paradoxical classic by Patrick Valenza, available on Deviantmoon. This colorway is no longer available but there is still a beautiful blue and purple
Heel interessant. Ik heb het ook moeilijk met getallen dus de Tarot de Marseille sprak me ook helemaal niet aan ( ik hou ook niet zo van de primaire kleuren). Maar misschien moet ik het op termijn toch eens een kans geven. Eerst de RWS nog wat verder bestuderen 😉 Bedankt voor de duidelijke info 🙏🏻💕
Graag gedaan, Saskia! Dat heb ik dus ook een beetje.. hofkaarten waar ik minder mee kan.. niet zoveel sfeer in de kaarten, lijkt wel. Maar goed, je ziet met welk deck ik werk ;) Zodra je een Marseille in je handen hebt die je prachtig vindt, wil je het ook echt leren lezen! RWS ook nog steeds een favoriet van mij, sowieso.
