Even though I love the song, I really wasn't that excited about a Michelle tutorial- mostly because it just seems so perfectly suited for guitar that any other instrument wouldn't do it justice. But after watching the sample, this is my new project. Awesome work as usual, John.
ps- Just want you to know that as a personal thank-you for all your hard work I let your bruins slip by my ags in the 2nd round this year. So I guess we'll call it even ;)

Hi John, I don't know if you still read these comments, but I just wanted to thank you. I started playing piano in 2005 and I found your channel in 2007. Your videos taught me SOOO MUCH. I've been playing for 18 years now and I love the piano. Like I said, your channel helped me learn and helped me grow so very much; I can't even express how much you've helped me, except to say thank you.
The best thing to do for you in return is to tell you that Jesus saved me and gave me a new and eternal life about 6 years ago. Jesus is real. He died for our sins and he rose from the dead. He's alive now, and his Spirit lives in the heart of those who put their trust in him. He is the truth and he's what real life and real love really is. I don't know, obviously, if you have a relationship with him or not. But if you do, let this encourage you to continue in loving him and trusting him, and if you do not, may this encourage you to seek him with all your heart. I know it's hard, but forget about religion and focus on wanting a relationship with him. Seek him with all your heart and you will find him. He's the only way.
Thank you again for how you've helped me grow as a pianist, and thank you for allowing me share the good news of the love of God shown to us in and through Jesus Christ.
    Take care,
    Sean

I appreciate John's post, including these 3 songs. Let's remember the old saying, not to look a gift-horse in the mouth. John gives generously of his time, besides his regular job and travel. He's not charging us for his expert services. Many people know a lot but not all can teach so well like he does. I took exception to thestuvy's comment. It just goes to prove once again that you can't please everyone. If something is given to you as a gift, then maybe you shouldn't complain about it.

My apologies to all. You're right, bencw05. "Lady Madonna" wasn't on the US Magical Myster Tour album. I should have known that. It first appeared on an album in 1970, on the compilation album called "Hey Jude" as pianojohn pointed out. It also appeared on the 1973 compilation album "Beatles 1967-1970." This time, I double-checked my facts. DJ

"Lady Madonna" wasn't released on any albums in the UK. In the United States, it was on the "Magical Myster Tour" album (1967). It was a single and charted high in the US but actually went all the way to #1 in Great Britain. In later years, it was put on one or two compilation albums, like Beatles 1967-70 and more recently, "1" - a Beatles CD released about 4 years ago that has 27 of their #1 hits on it.

By the way, pianowannabe2008, "Maybe I'm Amazed" was one of the very first Paul McCartney songs right after the Beatles split up. I believe it's from his first solo album, simply titled "McCarney" from 1970.

Thanks so much for your generous efforts to share your skills with perfect strangers.
I have started to learn to play rather late in life but it is giving me great satisfaction to be able to roughly follow your instruction.
Having memorized the steps, I have noticed your introduction piece has more movement in the left hand than in the tuition.
Could you possibly re-visit the tune giving the left hand steps?
    Thanks once again.
Any chance of classic oldies e.g. As time goes by?
