@@ghosted_ty Ive done that for a while but one of my friends at work with a good sized car channel told me to just start making and posting vids regardless if they suck or not so that’s what I’m doin now lol. and this 10 min video took half as much time to make vs my 15 second instagram edits lmfao
How u rotate the cam phaser when i set the L on driverside it would jump back or do i need the chain on to rotate the cam phaser to L so it does not jump backwards
@@Billy-mm8kt mine also jumped a little bit into place when i rotated it but you do rotate it without the chain on beforehand. I’d try to get it as close as possible on its own. You may need a second person to rotate and hold it while you slide the chains on. you’re basically fighting the valve springs being fully pressed down if it’s snapping back like that. Make sure you’re at top dead center though because that should relieve just about all the tension you have. I did not have my spark plugs in when I put these on so it also made the rotating a lot easier
Hello, "Nicky Bobby" I was analyzing your channel and saw that in your channel have some problem, That's why your channel is not much growing and not getting much engagement, If you can solve these problems, Your channel will grow like a storm. If you tell I can tell these problems. Where can I tell? Here or ig or where?
It doesn't look like it's that hard to replace the whole timing set, so far my 2009 3v hasn't had any issues that i know of , but I'm still not sure if i need to just yet. In case you or anyone would like to know that my car has 130k miles since I bought it in 2009 .
@@jameswelfel2467 tbh the only reason I replaced it was because I was adding a lot of power mods and wanted to get it out of the way. I definitely didn’t need to. I’m at 205k and everything actually looked pretty good when I took it off lol
okay now I understand a little more I'm not going to do anything like your doing just trying to find out if those so called horror stories are actually true just on the higher miles.
@@jameswelfel2467 haha well if the chain stretches and jumps a tooth you'll definitely know😂 but no I think you'll be fine for a while. I would say I drive my car pretty normally 90% of the time so that also helped my case. Even the scoring on my old cams wasn't too bad for the miles

Keep posting!!! you make awesome videos and your shorts and mustang build are my favorite on any platform

@@3v_eric it’s not too bad tbh. but the worst part is getting the timing cover off
