Oh I'm all too familiar with an imbalance of art and lifestyle, I'm more or less with my daughter nowadays, and finding time to make content, make art, and home school her, all while finding ways to create a small business out of my art, I'm still finding that perfect balance, we got this 💪

Yeah it's hard to be here on TH-cam. I tried Thumbnails like recommended but they give way less views than the once I make in my channel theme. So I changed them a few days ago. I did notice that after I changed my channel to how I really wanted it, I have way less views. So it seems like when I do the things the way I love to work it doesn't work for the audience. But I'm not gonna change back because I have way more fun creating now. You should keep doing things the way you like to do them. People will eventually find you. ♥ You're doing great.

@@keva_artwork isn’t it weird that when you do 1 one you get the opposite result and vice versa? I enjoy the graphic designing part of editing and making thumbnails. If I’m not careful I spend way too much time on it so I set a timer and have learnt to be happy with ‘good enough’ as my overly polished thumbnails that I spent a ridiculous amount of time on don’t seem to make a difference. I have a family to tend to and other responsibilities, so those that understand that and don’t expect cinematography or slick designs will find me as you say ☺️

11:36 I’m still watching the video, but I had to pause because what you said here made me think about how many people quit and give up during the early stages. The beginning is so hard and can trigger anxiety, but it’s so important to keep your focus on God during those times. I know you’re a woman of faith, so I had to stop and share this because it’s what kept me going. I’m about to hit 3 years since I officially started my business (meaning as an LLC), and I can finally say things are becoming clearer and easier. Okay, I’ll get back to watching now, lol-just felt like my spirit needed to share that with you.

@@tarralu thanks so much Tarra. God speaks through us to others, so thanks for leaning into that unction to pause and tell me. I forget sometimes to stop and pray and bring my focus back on Him as it is Him who gives me the power to create wealth (Deuteronomy). It sometimes is a puzzle to figure out what wealth really means and how to get there, but better to work on something knowing He has my back, than blindly following some selfish fleshly thing that won’t produce fruit.
I have to accept that I can’t go at a speed that I want due to my other responsibilities, as well as the fact that this is new territory, so it’s learning, discovering, applying, making mistakes and trying again.

@@mimisart You’re so welcome! I’m grateful that what I shared resonated with you. It’s such a grounding truth that our strength and creativity come from God, and remembering that we’re empowered to create wealth is so important.
I love your perspective about working on something with the right intentions, rather than chasing after things that won’t produce lasting results. That mindset helps keep us aligned with our purpose and direction.
A message God gave me in the beginning stages was, ‘the wealth is in the soil.’ It came to me in a dream, and while it can be interpreted in different ways, I’ve come to believe that the wealth is the seed, and often that seed is our thoughts. Our thoughts have the power to create and nurture the wealth we’re meant to cultivate.
It’s also wise to pace yourself. Learning, discovering, and making mistakes are all part of the journey, and you’re planting seeds that will bear fruit in due time. Keep trusting the process. Everything will fall into place as you continue moving forward. 💖
