He's going to give SEC defensive coordinators fits and now you've given him ELITE TALENT, an ELITE program and now his recruiting is becoming ELITE... AND I dare say there won't be any drop-off in defensive production.. Who knows, from what I'm hearing, he and Kane Womack bout to UNLEASH all that 4-5 star defensive freaks... 😮
i will miss nick...but im anxious to see what coach deboer brings from washington...im thrilled proctor has returned and hope downs comes back...bama has good coaches be it nate oats, coach murphy and now deboer bama athletics will be in good hands....bama will be ok...
More than ok. Coach DeBoer has rejuvenated Bama and recruits have noticed. It’s one thing if we as fans say “Bama won’t change” but it means a lot more when every recruit is saying it, while top talent is lining up to watch our practices. As far as recruiting goes, 4 kids ranked in the top100 before April is pretty big. Outside of Ohio St. and LSU I don’t think any team has landed as many. Just think how much it could potentially get better after these boys prove it on the field. As far as basketball goes, it might be the most exciting time ever for the basketball program. With the addition on the kid we picked up from the portal it puts our class at #3 nationally. 3 high school players ranked in the top50, 2 5 stars with one being just what we need in a big guy center that could be 7’ by the time we play game 1 next season. Players like Walters and Stevenson in year 2 could make huge strides. Technically the only player that won’t have any eligibility left is Estrada. Will Sears come back? Hope so but I’m sure some will transfer. Baseball team is ranked #9 as well. Rtr!!
I’m a diehard Alabama fan, but I have mixed feelings about proctor returning. He left Alabama when they needed leaders to stand up for the team. Then the whole shadow of him pretty much robbing Iowa of a 100k. If the team welcomes him back then great, but distractions like this can cause major rifts in morale.
