@@JuneBaby0132 in the last 4 years is really high. 2022 was only 5, but they also had the #2, 31, and 45 picks that year. This last draft was 9 guys including a 1st, 2 2nd, and a 3rd. The majority of the starters on the current team are projected to be drafted too.

1. All-22 doesn't show sidelines
2. The videos are directed at the coaches for the entire game
3. The videos were sent to coaches/staff, and stored on university systems
4. Michigan reimbursed expenses
5. Football coaches/staff had a spreadsheet of games to "scout", and names of the interns that would attend to video the signals.
6. The low level recruiting staffer was talking to both the OC and DC during the game, after calls were signaled in.

you also forgot to include the user ID's that the coaches used on the spy guys files hard drive that show who was on it and who downloaded them, which all of them did, and recently minutes ago I heard at home games they bugged the rivals press box that calls in plays down to the sideline coaches. If true they will get the death sentence

Filming the sidelines at games, with tickets and travel expenses paid for by people involved with the program, and sending the video to the team is scouting. The delusion coming from some Michigan fans is extraordinary.

@@woodybear8298he is a revisionist history guy. After Michigan lost so badly to Georgia, Steve was on the same channel crying about the absence of Big 10 National Championships over the past 50 years as related to the uptick in championships for southern schools, particularly the SEC.
He credited shifts in demographics with northerners moving south for industrialization purposes as the primary reason for the emergence of Southern teams as national powers in college football.
What he failed to recognize were the more salient points regarding desegregation and elimination of Jim Crow in the south that led to southern schools fully integrating and allowing blacks to participate in athletics, particularly college football by the early 1970s.
He really believes that southern football only takes off and succeeds because northern snowbirds moved south and brought all of their winning traditions and football expertise along with them..
Simply stated, southern schools decided they would rather play championship caliber football instead of advocating for racism. Steve is too wrong-headed and arrogant to admit the true facts and he would rather spin yarns and revise history as some kind of silly coping mechanism.

When it comes to whether he is being honest, Steve doesn't make a habit of lying, now he may be wrong on some things but he is an honest actor. As a Michigan fan, the entire thing makes me sick. Innocent until proven guilty, but damn there are a lot of moving pieces and some simmering smoke around this thing. For me, if they can prove that the school funded the tickets and trips, that's a problem, even without "recorded video" evidence, secondly, Iif they can prove that staff members received said videos, then that's an even bigger problem. The competitive advantage doesn't mean squat to me personally. Football games are won by matchups. I promise you a 3* freshman CB going up against Marvin Harrison, can know his route to a T, but he's losing that matchup every single play. That being said, if we knowingly broke rules, then shame on us and we deserve everything we get. See you guys in November

Steve has shown himself to be totally irrational. It turns out that UM worked hand in glove to help South Carolina cheat and win its last two games of the 22 season - 1 loss Tenn and 1 loss Clemson. Score against USC was 63-38. Some amazing offense against a team possibly going to final 4. And giving these 2 teams an extra loss would give UM a buffer w/r to making the final 4. Steve is either not paying attention or has lost it altogether. What an embarrassment.

I am not a michigan fan but I am a Patriots fan and he is right this is going to light a fire under that team and they will play at their abosulute best. They love their coach and they know it is likley his last year. The Patriots were pushed by spy gate to go 16-0 in 07 and deflate gate pushed them to win another 3 super bowls in the 2010. The 2016 team did not have Brady for 4 games and still went freaking 14-2 and came back from 28-3 just to make the Roger hand them that trophy.

There’s no precedent of the NCAA that makes me think they will ban Michigan from the post season. Tennessee, UNC, Kansas, etc got fined and suspensions

Wow! Wow! Wow! There is so much to unpack here, and you must love the display you got to air!
First off, it doesn't matter what happens on the field here anymore, as the Wolverines are just going to be branded as cheaters, regardless if how this plays out. This is from an outsider perspective looking in as I am not a Michigan or Big Ten team fan specifically, but this just lines up with the Harbaugh Era of misdeeds when it comes to violations. Everyone, outside of the Michigan program, will just see this as another Mar on the program and will call in to question each win, regardless of how loud the fans and homers yell about how they would have won anyway or that everyone else is doing it. In the end, what we know is that there seems to be some pretty great evidence that Michigan was doing this, and their head coach was aware and will deny it, or was inept in managing his team and staff to the point that he was not aware of what was going on, on his own sidelines. Either way, it's a terrible look and calls into question Harbaugh and his ethics.
Hey, argue all you want if this applies to the rule, and if it doesn't then so be it, but in the end the public perception and analysis of this, regardless if it follows to the letter some scouting rules, that in general this is sleazy and is a form of cheating.
Michigan can now go and win it all thus year, and it will be known as the year they won after they got busted cheating, and as time passes, it will re.ain an asterisk on college football history.
I am not trying to be mean or say anything about the players, the overall University, or the fans. This is just a reality that no amount of yelling and whining will be able to undo. At this point, Wolverine fans should enjoy the rest of the year and hopefully grab that championship win, as it will probably be the last in a while, as they lose their coach and depending on the accountability lose scholarships or post season play. Worst case scenario, the last few years get vacated, so enjoy those wins right now because they might not even exist 12 months from now.
It's too bad that any coaching staff would be involved in this and would betray the players and fans of that team. Michigan fans should take in consideration that it wasn't somebody else who did this, it was the coaching staff and people affiliated with the coaching staff. In the end, even if it was a non coaching contractor, they still engaged and provided information and guidance to the coaching staff... if the allegations are true. It isn't prudent to be upset with anyone but Harbaugh and his staff, as they allowed this or were such poor leaders that they were unaware of this.
