I'm confused on your mirage mirror combo, wouldn't it stay tapped.
The beauty of the stack my friend. When you start the combo. You double activate the mana cost which causes the loop, so you’re keeping a copy of mirage mirrors ability on the stack as you add new activated abilities to the stack holding priority. It’s one of the trickier stack interactions in the game.
Yes, it would stay tapped. That’s why you’d alternate between copying basalt and the dual land/dork. You’d put a billion activations on the stack and then resolve them backwards. Tap for G/B, then turn into basalt and pay 3 to untap, then turn into your land/dork and tap for G/B, etc.
