The set is awesome, even the art cards are really nice and the book is filled with info.
Out in a order for this and the Sacrament earlier today. Can’t wait, Sacrament is a great Movie and i have been looking forward to for years.
The Sacrament is rather good. I had a great time rewatching. I will give Gonjiam another watch on a cold dark night. Maybe I’ll enjoy it more.
Good review , agree with your thiughts . I had high hopes for this one . Liked everything until they got to the asylum then it was just another underlit , loud noise wandering around a building movie . I also found the subtitles were too distracting to the on screen footage .
Found Footage with subtitles does take me out of it a little. Although I did enjoy Troll Hunter which is actually a good movie. Nothing new to me Gonjiam i would rather watch Grave Encounters. Even the imagery wasn’t overall creepy. Bit of a snooze fest really 😴

Try and catch it on streaming or get the standard at a reduced price. I didn’t hate it. It’s just a little predictable. I love found footage to death and it didn’t do much for me. The packaging is amazing though.

Good review. I’m not interested in this one. I know people like praising Second Sight, but they have not been releasing appealing titles lately, too many new 2000’s+ horror imo, it’s cheap low hanging fruit. I’m waiting for a good old school horror title get the second sight limited edition treatment. This year hasn’t been second sights best.
Fair comment and I do agree. Everyone seems pumped for the 4K of You’re Next. I don’t even remember the movie being all that. I might just stick with my standard Blu-ray. Last year was better for Second Sight. TCM 4K, Martin, The Changeling and May. The Hitcher will be one to get. Instead of doing all these modern era movies why don’t they give The Stepfather a much needed big 4K release. They’ll be releasing the 2000’s Prom Night in a limited edition next.
