This is great! Now I want to run my Samples through my Monotron Delay (so crunchy). I was inspired by the line in the last video (Samples & Cycles with Rae) about loading the same sample across the pads but at different root notes. I’m trying to figure out how to make chords & diverse patterns using different trig lengths for each track, then different effects / step and different cutoff & res / track and so forth down the rabbit hole. Thanks for sharing the inspiration!
Very nice, I do a similar thing with the Model:Samples and KORG NTS-1, which has some excellent reverbs (plus delay and mod effects, which are free/paid logueSDK downloads) considering the $100 price tag. Plus a monophonic synth voice that can be sequenced with the M:S. Empress sounds lovely as well, super dreamy. Great stuff.
It doesn’t end up in the sequence but the sound is coming through the outputs so if you recorded from the outputs to an audio recorder with the metronome on it would be recorded.
Very nice! Love these pad sounds and that reverb does sound pretty dang good. Now I want to get my MS and jam on it. Unfortunately it’s become one of my least used pieces of gear but there could be hope yet!
I think he said he was using single cycle waveforms, which is a very short sample (just one cycle of a wave), so you need to make it loop in order to create a longer sound
Thanks for the video. I'm thinking about getting the elektron. Would I be able to continue looping something ambient like you made at the end but then switch over to a new set of six sounds on the pads and continue with a new song? If not, do you have a suggestion of hardware that would be able to do something like that?
I love turning the Tone of the MS reverb down to about -35 and time to 120 - sounds quite lush and ambient on its own.

I do the same! (And got both at Patchwerks)
Didn't think of sequencing the NTS with the MS.
Probably a silly question - the metronome doesn't end up on the recording, right?
Right

Thank you so much for your Model Samples videos. They are great and some of the best demonstrations on TH-cam. Please make some more!! All the best!

nice one!! is the loop button on for something specially ?

Oops, the reverb costs more than the M:Samples...but it sounds great, of course! :-)
That's greaaaat, love this reverb!
Bro that was dope af . I’m picking up one of these drums machines soon it will be my first one. Except I’m gonna get the cycles since I’m a noob
Excellent tip ! Please do more tips like this for the MS :)
Thanks for sharing this creativity!
yup, that sounds about right ! really cool man, keep up the good work !

cleverly done. enjoyed this.
Nice, man. Thanks.
Beautiful
Hi there. THis is awesome. Where can we get these single waveforms? They sound amazing.
