I never actually thought about why I was so drawn to reading Peanuts on the back pages of The Observer magazine when I was a kid…now I understand why, because I related so strongly to the problems Charlie Brown had.
Highly educated doesn't mean smarter. I have a BA(Hons) and saw university as a far over-rated sham. College was brilliant, and I learned a lot! University isn't necessary unless you want that pointless piece of paper that will cost you tens, if not hundreds of thousands.
Well yes, education and intelligence are very different things but… Sometimes working towards that piece of paper is pretty important. You wouldn’t want to see a doctor for example who hasn’t achieved that piece of paper. ;)
I am the proud owner of a Peanuts treasury collection, and I....treasure it greatly. If only Charles had missed the football and kicked Lucy in the head just once....ha ha
I found a book of Peanuts comics with a strip in it where Lucy promised to let Charlie Brown kick the ball. Unfortunately, he ended up kicking Lucy's hand! It's in a book called Charlie Brown: A Peanuts Collection.
@@bvdatech1 Yes, of direct german/norwegian descent, but born in Minnesota. For some reason I assumed the comics were originally german and translated into english lol.
Repent and trust in Jesus. we deserve Hell for our sins. For example lying, lusing, saying God's name as a cuss word and stealing our just some examples of sin which we can all admit to doing at least one of those. For our sin we deserve death and Hell, but there is a way out. Repent anf trust in Jesus and you will be saved. Repentence is turning from sin. So repent and trust in Jesus. He will save you from Hell, and instead give you eternal life in Heaven. John 3:16 Romans 3:23😊😊❤❤❤😊
What a fantastic interview, I loved his cartoons when I was growing up. A great man with a brilliant talent. Rest In Peace, Charles M. Schulz.

I could listen to Charles Schulz talk all day and not get in the least bit bored. He was a very interesting and wise man!
I fell in love with Snoopy when I was 5. I've stayed in love for 35 years! Thank you so much Charles!
Snoopy is awesome
Love this man! Love Snoopy and the Peanuts Gang! He will never be forgotten.
Those pants 👖, love the 70s
Why did it take so long for BBC Archive to post this great interview? Good Grief!
A brilliant guy...rest in peace Charles

Was about to like the video but I saw it was at 420 likes so…you know… can’t change that!
German accent?
Ever seen the film Fargo... which is where I'd heard a very similar accent.. same place Minnesota.. Scandinavian / German influence.
"Suspiciously" several of his Snoopy's characters have Germanic/Dutch (Northern European) names. Schroeder, Frida, Linus & Lucy Van Pelt..
@@ssnw08050 Ah, that explains it. I always assumed he was german.

What a strange, artificial dialect. I've never heard that before.
it's a minnesotan accent :3
What's so artificial about it? Lol.
@@sirknight4981 Yeah, this accent is a Saint Paul accent.
I have a coworker with exactly the same accent. Just because you've never encountered it doesn't make it not real!
