Congrats! Dovey is such a perfect name for your baby girl💕 I used to live Molokai long time ago & when I was five, remember had to go with my mom and dad to Honolulu for my baby brother to be born. I think still the same, also Lanai folks have to go Honolulu

Kauai does. My granddaughter gave birth there, but you're right about Wilcox. My granddaughter lives so close to that hospital, yet she chose to deliver at the other hospital, which is far away from her home.
It’s Lana`i! 😂😂 On Lana`i you have to go to either Maui or Oahu at 36 weeks and wait there until you give birth. We don’t have the medical facilities or access to specialists (like the anesthesiologist for the epidural lol) to support any emergency during child birth.
I think you mistaken the islands for Molokai. Molokai you can deliver if you absolutely can't wait but normally people from molokai fly over to give birth on oahu.
😂Tumua, too funny you! You can give birth at all hospitals here on Big I. Kauai you can give birth at least one hospital. Then medical insurance companies will reimburse the patients. Anyways lol...congrats on Dovey! She is precious. Love you folks, keep the laughter coming. 🤙😘
She's beautiful and mama looks great as well. Oh, the sleepless nights. Daddy better be on night duty so Rachel can get some rest. My healing with my 2nd was a lot better. I rested a lot more and drank tons of water bc i was breastfeeding. I was so thirsty all the time
