Heritage was the 1st David Austin rose I bought back in 1998. I've moved house twice since then and always have several DA roses in my garden. My current favourite is Munstead Wood.

I enjoyed seeing your roses. I too love the David Austin English roses and have many. My current favorite is Gabriel Oak, with Jude the Obscure and Mary Rose close behind. Also, Constance Spry, which is a spectacular rose when in full flush. Honorable mention to Munstead Wood. I could go on...

All DA roses are gorgeous! My favorite is my Teasing Georgia. I got her after she came out, then cut her back to 4 ft. In February years ago because we moved. She is still gorgeous and blooming beautiful roses 🌹

Hi there! I love Jude the Obscure! Last year I almost lost it. I think the gopher might have taken a bite off its roots. Fortunately it survived and this year it came back even bigger with lots of blooms. Here's a recent video of my roses. Beautiful roses, how do you avoid or treat black spot? my DA roses are looking fine but a few of them died due to black spot...

По-моему, у Вас другой сорт розы вместо Heritage. Цвет похож, но строение цветка в середине должно быть другим (см. книгу д-ра Хессайона "Розы").
Unfortunately one can no longer buy Jude the Obscure in the UK. David Austin has retired it.

I love and want all of these! How does Heritage do for you? I hear they shatter fast, do they rebloom enough to make up for it? And how is heritages thorn level and smell for you please?! 🙏🏻Trying to decide if I should put it on my arch walk way or not!
Hi Serena, Heritage did very well for me. It had lots of gorgeous bloom. In fact, it is getting ready to rebloom again. I find that several of David Austin's roses shatter fast. My number 1 pick, Wildeve shatters so fast but it is still my favorite in terms of look. It's just so gorgeous! The heritage didn't have a lot of smell and I would say the thorn level is ok. My other favorite is Bathsheba. I would recommend that for an archway. I planted it late last year on an arch walkway and it is already 3 feet or so. The flowers are gorgeous and I love the smell. Yes but you'll need some shade for them, better plant them under a banana or a palm tree. Trying to hide them from direct sunlight at noon and watering them often. I'm not from India but I know the bloom won't be as big and gorgeous as in cold areas.

I’ve just purchased Olivia Austin rose, Gertrude Jekyll, Septor d’ilse and Rose De Rescht and will be planting them soon. I have my eye a few others but I just love the style of Alnwick rose, so classic, soft and pretty. Hopefully I can get a couple of them eventually

Number 4 is not Queen of Sweden. Queen of Sweden has heart like petals.
Hi Night Owl, this rose still has the old tag on it that says Queen of Sweden. I also checked my David Austin booklet and compared the flowers and they do match. Sometimes the flowers on the roses may look different due to weather/temperature/water conditions. For example, my wildeve flowers doesn't look the same as the blooms from last year. We are having a drought here in California and some of my plants are suffering. : -(

The David Austin rose 'Jubilee Celebration' has produced many beautiful cabbage type blooms in my garden here in the Ohio River valley. I believe that it has a different name in the U.K.
No Barry it's called that over here to. Have to wait until October to get it though as its out of stock here.
