- Hello Everyone and welcome to Mount and Blade Warband due to a strangely timed patch in Bannerlord I turn to Warband for a new series! We are back to one of the best mods ever created for the game The Last Days Of The Third Age. The mod is a totally conversion for the whole game turning it into lord of the rings showcasing the battle for middle earth.

Still playing warband modded myself. So, really glad to see you start this series. Looking forward to seeing where it goes.
The reason for your soldiers missing the orcs is that the orcs are small, and most attacks are aimed for a center of the mass (or a head) of a human-sized target.
Though you should be able to adjust that in the settings.

I'm sure you figured it out but the plus and minus keys on the numpad can change the camera zoom in third person ( in default warband at least ) my all time favourite game so its cool to see you playing.

WAIT! yeh so i was going to play bannerlord but they patched the game yesterday and you probably know what that means 😂 So I ended up doing this instead TBH though I probably enjoyed this a lot more than plan a hhahaha

Press spacebar to cheer at the end of the battle, like when your other guys start cheering

You can gain faction rank points for finding the guildmaster, sellers, even some leaders by running around towns. Can't remember if you get anything else from it, but it can help you get up a rank or two in Gondor.
Yes we switch to this approach next episode i think combat can be good but not in the numbers you see a the start of the game

i remember playing warband a few years ago, great game, great mods, i miss it.
Guild masters will commonly give quests for metal scraps (varying qualities), and they’ll reward you for more than the metal is worth and some rank/rep.

I like warband’s leveling system a lot more than bannerlord’s and have been thinking of making a bannerlord mod that overhauls the leveling system to be the same as warband. I am a programmer so it wouldn’t be extremely challenging, but i don’t want to spend all the time to do it if people wouldn’t download the mod. What are your thoughts on warband vs bannerlords leveling/stats system?
Would be quite the undertaking but I also prefer the warband system especially for companions

Its the prior version in a nutshell worse graphics better gameplay
I'd recommend, if you want to speed up progression a bit, to switch rank/influence gain to double in the mod options.
We add that in at some point :)

It might look old but the gameplay features of the mod far outstrip anything Bannerlord has at the moment hopefully they catch up in time
