It's because the Minecraft soundtrack was inspired by and used a lot of modern classical minimalist techniques with a lot of note repetition, which is very present here too. This is basically Steve Reich
@ElectroX7 Series it’s noticeable just as soon as 3 dots, but more noticeable the more dots are added. If you focus on the center of all dots it is easier to notice, while focusing on one specific dot will do the opposite.
It sounds like I was playing Zelda or something I didn’t as the music was feeling up. I was getting closer to something good or magical lost in the forest, but went right past it, and the music began to slow down as I got further away.
Just wondering if the illusion actually requires you to think they’re not moving all in straight lines Because it sure as hell gives the illusion, even when you still look at a certain point
